Seems to me Topps and UD trying to get rid of all those jerseys they bought, the 09-10 releases all feature very generous swatches, unlike 08-09.

From that scan there it shows up like an uneven surface or maybe glue mark in the top left section?
reckon I should contact Topps for a replacement or not bother due to the changeover?

You can try to contact them but I don't think they will bother to give you a new card for the small smudge in the top left of the jersey (is that what you mean?). Overall, I like the generosity of swatches this year. But I guess the normal GU cards have tiny swatches as usual.
