09/10 Panini Classics Box Break

Hey

Just broke a box of 09/10 Classics in search of the on card rookie autos I need for my set chase. So far I only have about 7/35 so there are plenty that I still need. One would think it would be a given that I would pull at least one auto I need..... disappointment.


Hit 1- James Harden GU - Already have this one...

Hit 2- Elton Brand GU - One of the worlds smallest fans of Brand - So another disappointing hit.

Hit 3 - Marcus Landry on card auto - Yay! - No wait, this is one of the 7 I already have.

Hit 4(in last pack, so getting nervous) - REDEMPTION - I hate redemptions

Redemption is a 'Significant Signatures Gold' so it isn't even a Rookie, so notpart of my chase. I will look at who it is and what it is numbered to.....



Wait a minute - #90 - KOBE BRYANT - ON CARD AUTO NUMBERED TO /50 - No more disappointment..... my first KOBE hit ever!!!

Heaps good mate. Thats wicked you pulled a kobe auto. Its a bugger that you have to wait for it.
I was felling the same thing in my panini update box until i opened my second to last pack and got the walt frazier auto.

Thanks guys, Was def a relief, is a nice card, but as it's not part of any pc sets, I am wondering whether to sell as a redemption or to redeem and sell in 6 months.

Anyone know what this would sell for roughly?

Saved by the redemption! I've been waiting about 5 months on one redemption - even asked them for a replacement a while ago and still nothing! I think the Kobes were getting redeemed pretty quickly at one stage but if you flog it on ebay expect it to go for a discounted price... Not a big Kobe collector but I;d be guessing around $125 to $130?! There'd be heaps of guys around with a better idea than me though...
