So I bought 2 packs of SPx today on my way home from work, so from 2 packs, finding a jersey card I SHOULD be happy, right? But the card I pull is: Winning Combos - Kareem Rush and Gerald Wallace!!! #-o I mean honestly, what the HELL are those two going to win, besides this year's "wooden spoon" with the Bobcats??? Sweet FA, that's what! I reckon it's criminal having cards like that in a premium set, especially in a set with that name... I mean, they should have those two on a card in a "Competitive for the first quarter-and-a-bit Combos" set! The worst part is I paid almost $40 for the 2 packs, and who's collecting either of those two? May as well have Scott Pollard and David Harrison on the Pacers card!

I hear what you are saying Axe but Wallace is one of the most underated players in the league. Maybe a Wallace/Okafor would be better suited though.

yeah gerald aint too bad at all, hes improved out of sight this season and is on track to be a contender for defensive POTY. rush on the other hand...yeah i feel your pain :D

yeah but still rush is pretty bad for the second playa.
but there are more like that. probably why i decided not to get a box

Gerald is awesome.. and Bobcats have been doing alrite this season.. look out for Melvin Ely, drafted #12 in the Yao/Amare draft, he's heating it up man!

Except that Okafor has the Topps deal. Should've used Felton or May, but UD would probably already have included that card. The question then would be why would they include a 2nd dual of a struggling team???

Look on the bright side, you could have pulled a Shane Battier .. or commons :) Chin up son!

PS where in Brissy did you buy these from ?

im sick of gerald wallace being so under-rated..
he is AMAZING on both ends of the floor..
this guy is a couple of years away of putting up amare like numbers

amare like numbers would be quite a stretch. he's not as dominant on the offensive end, and he hasn't got a point guard of nash's calibur (as good as brevin knight and raymond felton are), nor a fellow finisher of marion's calibur (even before his injury okafor was playing like a shadow of the player that took ROY honours)
