05/06 Fleer????

Just wondering if anyone has any more/new info on this product?? All the info so far has pointed to a release date of Jan 12th.....but I'm surprised that none of the sellers on US Ebay are pre-selling cases and also large case/box sellers like Dacardworld and Blowoutcards have no reference to the product.
What's going on????

my guess is that ppl are a bit wary of how UD is going to handle the fleer product, they dont know whether they will make it into a nice product and maintain the respect for the fleer name or just make it their budget shit product like collectors choice or victory.

Something strange has happened with the Fleer product. I also noticed that it disappeared from a few sites.

Allstar, have you tried to email anyone at Dacardworld and Blowoutcards to find out?

Vlad...I haven't tried yet. I'll do it now and report back with the results. I have a price for a case from OCsportscards and one from another US Store.....but that doesn't mean the product will be released/available does it!!!

I swear I saw cases pre-selling on ebay @ approx US$550 just last week, but now nothing :?

HI, I do not know if they are making this product. As fleer went out of business a couple months ago. We value you as a customer and look forward to doing business with you in the future

And from Blowoutcards...

Hi, As far as I know..they cannot make the product yet..They did not get the NBA league approval for it yet.

I think Blowoutcards reply probably makes the most sense.... I'm pretty sure UD have already released a Fleer Hockey product.....so the issue must be with the NBA.

From what I read a month ago-ISH, the product was shit...

1 GU per box, and 1 Auto per Case???? WTF :shock:

Let's hope I'm totally wrong, and that UD/Fleer release something, cos I reckon they'd add to the variety on the Market wars between UD and Topps. Although UD would own/run the Fleer market for cards, but you still get my drift.... :?
