I suppose at this point we haven't had an "official" reply so maybe there's some confusion, not that I care as the Merrin has already found a home.
would it be possible, like we have said, they are only in it to flog their product for 5 years as per agreement with NRL.Is it possible this is driven by consistency in policy on all redemptions and not wanting to have to bother with all the WIL?
Personally I think they should honour all of them like select do, but at the very least (despite not likeling the concept of the 1/1)the #1s should be honoured. We are only talking about 16 redemptions max and given about half have been found already.
If select don't even produce the nrl cards anymore and can do it, I think esp as the current producer should definitely.guess time will tell.

By then they should have enough players contracts under their belts.
Personally In my opinion it sucks, if there is no date stated on packs, as that is what their sole product is, not boxes or cases.
Then they have to honour them until they are no longer in business.
FULL STOP.
Heard a little rumour they are negotiating to extend the deal as we speak.
Just an update on these 2014 #1's. Here is the current list of redemtpions that have been received by ESP.
Dragons Trent Merrin
Eels Tim Mannah
Sea Eagles Brett Stewart
Bulldogs Michael Ennis
Roosters Anthony Minichiello
Knights Darius Boyd
Warriors Simon Mannering
Tigers Liam Fulton
Raiders Terry Campese
So the other 7 are still out there....
