Christmas mailday - Thanks Santa!!!

Got a couple of cards in just before Christmas. The first one I have been chasing for sometime, so I am extra pleased I finally got it.

1990 Star Pics Autograph

1999-00 Upper Deck MVP Super Script 14/25. This has been listed on Ebay for over two years by our great friends Burbank Sportscards. As I am sure you are all aware they tend to over price a lot of their stock. I hounded them about reducing the price but they wouldn't budge. Then finally a couple weeks before Christmas they reduced the price by more than half, so finally I got my hands on it!

And finally a couple more parrallels for my ever growing doubles collection.

1999-00 Finest Gold Refractor 91/100

2003-04 Fleer Avant Black 96/199 - I really like this set. Sweet designs!!

2003-04 Bowman Chrome X-Fractor 129/150

They had flat out denied my request on several ocassions, so I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it had been reduced!!!

All jokes aside, those are a pair of sweet cards and its great to see them join such a good PC

I was quite surprised when i seen Burbank had dropped their prices too. Almost everything was at a reasonable price!

Like the refractors and Avant does have have clean and simple card designs. Some fo the older card brands like Star have some awesome old school on card autos etc. I'm a sucker for those 'authenticated' stickers or embossed prints - great work ona massive sig - literally!

Thanks man. I paid plenty for the Star Auto but it is certainly worth every penny!

Thanks Branko! There are still plenty more of them for me to get. Some of the 90's stuff like Hoops Starting Five and Topps MVP promotion are proving near on impossible to find. No doubt they will pop up at some stage.
