Rate the last movie you watched

I've seen two lines of criticism; that it's just an average forgettable movie, with a confused tone and Gal Gadot is terrible as the evil queen; and then you have the MAGA crowd piling on because Snow White is played by a latina actress (even though she gets praise for her performance by reviewers) and it's a "woke" progressive adaption full of feminazi propaganda.

Either way had no interest personally, done with endless retreads of the same old fairy tales because memberberries sell tickets.

Agree with all you said and all of the deserved criticism - I hate the way some people are trying to rewrite history and criticise things from 80 years ago - just let it fade away if you’re not a fan of the style or the message , some things change, times change - old style things can stay where they are. Don't remake it and say she was actually called that not because of her white skin but because she was born in a snow storm and also not have dwarves because that's not the correct term now and also the Prince was a stalker lol etc etc - just don't remake it I don't wanna hear that shite.

Snow White 7/10. 11yo gave it 8.5/10

First hour flew by then it almost dragged a little but was fine. Gadot not great but didn't think the young girl who played young snow white was good either.

cruzing Netflix found the old school - 1988 classic ' THE NAKED GUN'.
haven't seen this since the old VHS days.
So much fun and laugh out loud funny.
Leslie Nielsen (rip) is a comedy god.
just fun entertainment 8/10*

followed with ...
'THE COMEBACK-04' BOSTON RED SOX'
3 part doco on Boston vs N.Y world series. very well put together and highly entertaining 7/10*
 
Goodfellas

A timeless classic.

4 seasons deep into my first watch of The Sopranos, and while I knew a few actors from the show were in Goodfellas, I didn't realize there was 27 in total. So I had to dig it out and give it a re-watch to see who I could spot.

While a few are easy because they had speaking roles (although Paulie without his trademark wings took a while) there's ones like Big Pussy who gets about 5 seconds of screen time pushing a coatrack through a kitchen.

Sadly my HD DVD is a glorified coaster thanks to WB's shitty manufacturing. And apparently it's only available on Netflix to the Basic with Ads subscribers (as if streaming needs to be more fragmented) fortunately its on SBS On Demand.

Now I need to watch Casino, the other Scorcese/Pileggi film that I've never seen.

Casino is just as good as goodfellas.
Both film masterpieces
 
Blackberry (Netflix)
the story of the blackberry from a Canadian start up to the rise and fall.
Glenn Howerton (always sunny) is great.
Really enjoyed the story and a solid film all up 8/10*
