So the triple starter pack rumour was true.
One set has Rising Stars Bronze/Silver/Gold
One has Fan Faves Blue/Green/Purple/Red
One has Showcase Bronze/Silver/Gold/Titanium

Based on last years' Retail/Hobby I presume the Hobby will be the three-layered one again and the other two will end up at Newsagents/Kmart. I'm guessing Kmart will get the Showcase

So how will we be able to get the different Fan Favourites Colour variants?

They're the bonus cards in the Starter Packs, presumably the ones the newsagents get for Fan Faves specifically. If it's anything like previous years the lowest rarity (Blue) will be unnumbered and the highest (Red) to /100, with the other two somewhere inbetween 100-200 each respectively.

Also worth noting while each team gets 3 in the regular set (3 NRL or 2 NRL and 1 NRLW), only 1 NRL and the NRLW player from each team seem to come in the color variants

Laban as the Club Hero for the Warriors is curious one. Largely a NSW Cup player (although a smoky for round 1 this year) with 7 first grade appearances in total.

Unless it is for his heroism as standing stoically and swallowing Horsburgh's unprovoked punches last year in NSW Cup. So heroic was he, he was sent off for it.

They're based on the club's end of year Player and Rookie of the year awards. He got rookie of the year for the Wahs last year

Thanks for that. I'd prefer a "Rookie" card, but all good.

I haven't really pored over this much, but it seems a bit of a double up with the Rising Stars then
