A month back in (after a 9 year sabbatical) and quickly discovering how much this hobby has evolved since i parted ways with it.
I see a couple of familiar names are still here, but overall place seems real quiet. Looks as if FB groups is where all the action is?

Facebook groups are massive - think it started with razzes and/or people trying to split up the crazy box prices but not sure - I still mainly love the forum style

Thanks bud. Box prices, singles.. you name it. Looks like im priced out of a lot of the players i used to be able to buy/collect. Main reason i started picking up Shumps.
Also prefer forums, but even blowout seems like a ghost town.

Speculation has driven the prices of RC’s and semistars up to be level with retired HOF players and legends who won multiple titles. Made me narrow my focus a lot.

Blowout did that to itself though - they let the idiots run rampant, banned a few previous banned members but also many of the legendary posters/older members which totally gutted their knowledge base. Insane to watch.

Forums will probably make a comeback! Gotta keep it old school

Speccies did the same to comic books. Seems like no hobby is safe from cashed up 'investors' lol
Imagine my surprise when i saw the prices of Kobe & Lebron autos these days. Sheesh..
I remember struggling to sell those at 150-300 each lol
