Very happy with my instant win! Got the 150 STATS KINGS Full Set - Platinum Foil Set with the James Bond numbering 007
 
Seems to me that outside of the sealed product the set of leading goalkickers is the pick of the prizes.

18 cards valued I'd guess anywhere between $20-$100 each on the secondary market, assuming most of the instant win cards buried in retail product never see the light of day which would make these cards very scarce.
 
Purchased some packs of Teamcoach the Scanlens are great will be getting as many as I can of these . My favourite cards of the yr to date.

So Select don't have exclusive rights to AFL? What can you get in Teamcoach? How is it different?
 
Bought my first packs at the local news agent last week. Very underwhelming. This is the first year where I can say that Select's QC is poor. The inserts are badly bowed and the film easily pulls off the chromium.

The edges are raised just like many chrome cards from Panini and Topps, and while I was running my thumb over the edge the surface film peeled straight up. That's as bad as it gets.
 
Going to be a few nervous boys this week sweating on Harley's date with the tribunal..

Would be good for the hobby... but won't happen. Even Carlton lawyers won't get him off that.

I might PhotoShop a 'what could have been' featuring Harley Reid / Sam Darcy when the actual card is released.
 
Hell, I might just mock up a new Rising Star booklet fullstop. That design for Sheezel last year was slack as. Plus, Daicos needs one too for 2022.

His suspension will make his Rising Star Nomination cards more valuable. I prefer those anyway as opposed to the cards where they have the medal but it just means there is less choice, more scarcity etc. Still annoyed I didn't buy a few as I normally do but I refuse to pay $40 on ebay. There's always another boat that will sail. I'm done with fomo. It has cost me a small fortune since 2017.
