2 boxes of 2019-20 Prizm

Box 1. Hit the Murray colour in the last pack. Also had 1 Murray base and 1 Jones base. Meh. Not sure why I included the Mahomes insert. Maybe desperation. The Silver Prizms in both boxes were vets.

2nd box slightly better. Relieved to see Jones Prizm plus a colour auto of 3rd Round TE. No base Murray or Jones in this one. 1 Minshew base.

Cards do look great but a few more than 3 RC prizms would've been nice.

Bo Jackson is a beauty.
Great looking product as usual and I still like boxes with more than a handful of packs to rip.
But hard to get "value" out of Prizm these days. Last time I bought Prizm boxes was 2015 and they were around the US$70 mark.
Probably busted a dozen boxes.

It's pricey stuff alright. Would be all over them at US$70 a piece. These cost US $195 each. Prices seem to have sky-rocketed across the board these last few years it seems. I paid US$150 each for these last year.

Yeh I know these seem to be the "it" product for Football these days, but I just can't justify those prices. Also don't think the designs are amazing.

I'll stick to my low-end Donruss for now.

If it weren't for Prizm the only football product I would purchase is Donruss. It is a great product. I really liked the canvas rated rookies this year even though generally speaking I'm not a fan of rookie cards that do not have the RC logo. There's lots of colour, plenty of numbered stuff, and a variety of inserts. It's only 'low-end' in terms of price.
 
Agree 100% with regards to both pricing and design.
I still prefer the action shot photo design over the psychedelic backgrounds and weird shiny patterns.
When I first started buying boxes around 2012 season I'd be getting Prestige, Rookies & Stars, even Contenders for less than US$100. Granted there was close to parity with the dollar, but since Topps has been shut out it seems like Panini just keeps upping the price and at the same time cutting back on packs per box and hits per box.
These days there aren't many boxes that sell for less than $100 and the high end stuff is insane.

Sorry, haven't had a functioning internet for two days. I have these non RC prizms plus another lot of inserts in a bulk listing on ebay. If it doesn't sell they will go into the next comc consignment.
