Thanks mate. Yes my only disappointment is only fresh water fishing for me here, a lot easier then dragging the boat out by myself though. Hopefully will get a trip in it down the coast this summer.

More interested in what looks to be a nice cichlid community tank
Cheers mate thanks for noticing. Yes a lot of time and money invested in that one for sure. I also now have a large breeding setup which does help to fund the hobby but is starting to take up a little bit more time and space then I had hoped. Wife's new bmw has now been booted out of the garage to make way for breeding racks. I Think I have way too many hobbys lol
Are you a fish keeper yourself?

Mate I have a dedicated fish room in the garage although I've shut most tanks down over the last couple of years. I did have a rack of 2 x 5 footers 3 racks of 3 x 4 footers and two racks with 12 x 2 footers. I will eventually pick it back up but work and electricity costs have slowed me down a lot.

I now only have my 8 x 2.5 x 2.5 display and a 5 x 2 x 2 frog tank running.

I bred heaps: Frontosa, Brichardi, Calvus, Blue Dolphins heaps of Peackocks etc etc

Here's an old pic of one of my favourites.

Wow mate big set-up you had. I have roughly 5000ltr worth of tanks in the garage and just a 6x2x2 inside for display. Good hobby but definitely have to be dedicated. Currently breeding heaps of peacocks and haps and have 4 tropheus colonies.

Tropheus are one that I've always wanted to have a colony of duboisi or moliro but any really. I had a beautiful pair of dimi compressiseps that bred a couple of times but I had to separate them often as the male was very aggressive. Cool hobby and just writing about them makes me want to cycle a few new tanks.

Cheers

you may want to trade some fish Ross, or cards and fish.
may even want to start up a fish trading site.

They are nice fish but male is always aggressive. Well if your ever after trophs let me know. I have dubs, moliro, red bemba and ikola ( from Jim's). Have a lot growing out now. Had a beautiful colony of green murago but lost over half to bloat so the rest are just in the community tank now. I also have a lot of German blood line red rubins, Dragon bloods etc that are all really good quality

The Dragon Blood male is a striking fish, blue dolphins where one of the first I ever managed to successfully breed.

Thanks for sharing, here's me setting up my display tank a couple of years back.

Mate I would love to get a tank that big, not allowed until we have a bigger house though the wife says, so looks like I have to buy a big house to have a big tank so sounds like a 750k tank set up it will be lol

I'll post a couple of pics on the weekend of the breeding colonies I have. Here is my favourite fish though, 45cm leopard spot pleco girl that I have had for 7 years or so. Cranky thing. Photos really don't do the fish justice though, crap work phone

Don't just buy a bigger house build one around your tank set up.

I can tell from the scale she is one monster pleco. You become attached I've had my dominant male Frontosa for 14 years and from what I've read he is only middle aged.

My yellows are a colony my brother in law started me off with 19 years ago.
