Nice card mate,

As for kicking up a fuss my personally I have no trouble treading on toes if it needs to happen, but I am trying harder nowadays to do it nicely.

Questions are -

How bad are the scratches? (They really should not be there on a redemption as it's like you pulled the card from a pack)

Do you want to get it graded? (If the scratches are bad enough will it mean your grade is (9.5 instead of a 10)

Will the scratches make it hard for you to sell trade (Guess it comes back to again how bad they are, and a lot people seem from what I can see investing in grading a lot more then what they used to as you get that premium price with the highest grade so may scare people away from buying it off you)

Answer is -

You and only you can answer it, do you think it's worth treading on toes to get what you deserve after spending your hard earned money on a product.

So with what I have said up to you mate but, if it was me yes I would be writing a very hard hitting but nice email to the company's redemption/customer service devision.

Hope this helps.:):):)

Thanks mate. The scratches can only be seen in certain angles but they are definitely there. Wanted to get it graded and then move it on for something to add my pc but I wouldnt trade/sell a damaged card. Think I will take your advice and send a carefully worded email. Thanks again for advice

There's an interesting question when gradign a card it's all about centering, edges, corners and...........surface. Not sure if that takes into account the back of the card though. Because if you grade the surface (noun) it is defined as follows:

Surface
noun
  1. 1.
the outside part or uppermost layer of something.
    "the earth's surface"
There can only be one 'uppermost' layer so the back f the card by definition may not count. Although I suspect for grading cards they'll use the term as 'the outside part' and count all visible surfaces for things like rubber band damage etc.

Great auto though - I'd be happy with it!
