I started collecting the Select In Flight Prizm's Back in August 2013. I grabbed most of them over the first 5 months or so, being stuck on about 3 to go in the checklist at around March/April.
Then everything dried up and I could not find the last ones I needed anywhere.
A blowout member kindly offered me his Thomas Robinson out of his PC, making 2 left in June.
Then there was no movement until September when i MISSED the Michael Kidd Gilchrist on ebay due to the seller not putting any keywords in the title. Smh. However the MKG surfaced again in early October, leaving just the Ricky Rubio.
I searched blowout, europe forums (with rubio being a spaniard I figured they'd be stashed over there) and still could not find one.
In mid November I was browsing ebay to see that I had missed a Rubio! Again, the seller had not listed it correctly only under "Ricky Rubio Refractor". I spoke to the seller who told me the buyer was in Sydney, Australia! However despite offering 5x what he paid for it, he would not sell.
On December 10th, 2014 it finally surfaced on ebay. The first live listing I had seen in 16 months! I was not going to take any chances - I contacted the seller from China and made a deal for it. It must have been fate as the sellers name was along the lines of Tracy_McGrady1 lol.
And it arrived today. The final card. Each prizm refractor is numbered #/25 only and I believe this is only the second completed set in the world and contained Rookie Year cards of Anthony Davis, Dion Waiters, Harrison Barnes, Kawhi Leonard and MKG - along with prizm refractors of Lebron, Durant, Rose, Lebron, Wade etc!
