Yes and no.... I think I picked this up for under $5 dlvd which is VERY low... The lower numbered stuff can go well if there is a bit of a war... The low end stuff, not really... Most base auto and high numbered autos usually do not fetch any more than $10dvd.... It's a nice lil side PC where I only pick them up if I consider it an excellent price... I am the same with my Rivers side PC... That is accumulating as well with the same principle... recently picked up a Rivers Topps Finest RC auto for $20 which Im pretty stoked about
There seems to be a few more listed and Id say there has been a little bit of an increase, nothing overly noticeable... Still pretty cheap I reckon.... Picked up a 3clr Fleer Hot Prospects RC auto off COMC for $26 cpl of days ago.... Ive been outbidded at similar for $40... and that was preseason
never graded one before but have been interested to try the service, especially for cards that have a large value variation between raw and graded.... Older school rc auto's I think look pretty good slabbed with nice grades.... I have a few in the VBrown PC, I like them but wouldnt pay too crazy unless it was a 10.... My VBrown Nat Treasure /9 BGS 10 in one of my fave of my PC.... I dont know if I will grade this one, the quality of ebay and mailbox scans are poor but it would be worth the $2 to get it better assessed
With the $2 assessment, is this done by COMC themselves? Or does beckett take a look at the COMC scan and say that it would probably grade a 9 sort of thing?
I would probably grade a top selling Auto RC I was intending on selling, but for some reason have never been a fan of having them in my PC.

That is a really good looking card.... Gotta say some of the 2013 sets do really look great, I just can't justify the box prices....but this makes me want to pick up a few singles....

Some nice stuff can be picked up very cheaply, agree about the box prices, makes them hard to justify.

Good thing with the breaks is that if you are a team/player collector you don't end up with a lot of stuff you don't really want or a box full of tradebait!! Saying that there is still nothing like ripping in to a box looking for that big hit (even though you usually end up disappointed)
Going to have to find some breakers that send base though. I've gone a bit quiet on liveboxbreaks for a while as I just don't seem to be getting much out of it. You buy 5 or 6 shares spend your $40-50 and quite often come away with literally nothing. I know it's always a gamble, but it was feeling a bit like throwing money away when nothing at all was being sent... Might be better off going back to boxes and just buying hits on Ebay...

Know exactly where you are coming from guys, especially if your team is one of the 'hot' teams with this years star rookies eg Tavon Austin for Ausram and to some extent Manti Te'o for my Chargers PC which puts up the prices ridiculously. Because of COMC I have started doing more Ebay breaks as they are definitely cheaper, especially the case breaks if you can win an auction. May be more riskier but as yet haven't had any real issues. leading on to these!!

Another Ebay Chargers break, this time a box of Momentum yielded a Keenan Allen Field Plate auto
A ravens break brought this Aaron Mellette Logo Patch auto
Then a couple of Ebay purchases, R & S Longevity Aaron Mellette auto to /149
and finally an Arthur Brown Black Refractor auto /150 and a Joe Flacco Momentum Clear
