picked up a few cards to 'enhance' my display cabinet. im actually extremely happy with my latest pickups!
we will start off with this, went into a random team case break, oh man i had a good feeling when i heard i had landed the Hornets!
i dont know if it counts as it was a in a group break, but technically, this is the very first 1st round 1st pick rc auto i have ever pulled!
next up a few patches, really just wanted the chalmers but thought meh ill grab the rest for trade bait
next up, man....i have wanted this card since he exploded onto the scene, its taken a while for one to come my way, i really dont care that its numbered quite high, i think other then the NT RPA, this is THE rookie card of his to have...
another Clipper, i have been a huge fan of his since i saw him play when i was in LA last April. ive been chasing this card for a few months, and have had the worst luck trying to land one! but im thrilled to finally get it! the only way it could get any better for me is if i managed to upgrade to the /25 down the line!
and lastly, i was super suprised, i went into my newsagent this afternoon...and HOLY SHITY!!! BASKETBALL CARDS!!!!
he had hoops...Contenders...and 1 kobe pack! it was 3 bucks so i grabbed the kobe pack, skipped passed the hoops and grabbed 2 packs of contenders...they were fairly over priced...but hey! its just like how it felt when i was collecting as a kid!
kobe pack had zilch, i new that would happen, but for $3 i thought it was a worthy gamble.
first pack had a Marc Gasol Statistical contenders insert...
and second pack had this!
yay!! now im going to be busting packs every time i go supermarket shopping!!
