Hey guys,

Had one of the OCT regulars and mates Rob come around and bust a box do some trades etc earlier tonight.

After all said and done I only had one box from my stock left until my order arrives next week.

So thought stuff it I'll bust the last box we had 2012 Goodwin Champions


After busting 2 autos and 1 jersey thought that was the end, crappy box I havent done that well from Goodwin like Karl Adelaide Chilli Source has from my boxes.

Then my partner goes to me masterpiece baby.

Ed Andrews numbered 8/10 original painting of an original 1888 Tobacco card. Was a record holder for most bases stolen late 1800's and love these multipsort boxes.

This year has seen 2 of these paintings pulled from my boxes, Tiger Woods auto, Steve Wozniak, Hulk Hogan red magician and 1/1 Printing Plates.

you have definitely got some hot boxes of goodwin again this year much the same as the run i had last year on them....
i was so tempted to ring you the other day to get them too..... was going to buy myself an early bday present...

Thanks Karl, have now pulled the Magician Hulk, Printing Plate and now a painting like yourself.

Will have more in again in 2 weeks, whens your birthday?

dont forget you animal kingdom patches.....

i still need a printing plate by the way. and also need to organize to see what minis you have spare..
and as for my bday i am trying to forget about it and pretend it isnt happening.

You can buy the printing plate off me as was going to sell it soon anyways, yeah I have a few spare mini's I still need about 40 for the 150 card set and still need a few in the SP sets. Have a heap of doubles
 
I'm a little confused. So that is a painting based off on a 1888 card? It's kind of like an sketch card?

What did the face of the card feel like? Clumpy and bumpy like most paintings? I'm curious :)

Yeah little bit bumpy. Done by an artist name ken joudrey.

Only 10 of each card. All hand painted and 50 cards in the set mine was number 1 in the original set and one of the nicer/rare ones.

Was surprised to sell for. $400
 
Yeah, being /10 and 50 cards in the set, that's 500 paintings! I'm sure they are sweet, but considering there are 500 ones, a $400 sale for one of the 500 is shocking! I guess this Goodwin Champions stuff is starting to attract collectors' wallets like Allen and Ginter does!

Yeah mate very similar one of my customers pulled a tiger woods auto and that sold for over $1000. I'm not complaining when it sells for that much :) neither was the customer.
