Thanks to Matt and Graeme Gartside, Brad and great encouragement from Nazim, Ron and Alex I have been able to complete some sets in my collection. It was fantastic to catch up with Nazim this week and go for dinner in Melbourne's chinatown, by the time we stopped talking it was after 10.30, tks Nazim for the catch-up. With naming this thread it was a toss up between sweet treats and sweat treats because of the amount of effort put into decisions due to money (selling off spares of other collections etc) and it was also certainly sweet when each lot arrived. I have been promising to post recent items so here we go, I will post them in 2 lots:

awesome mailday. love the complete puzzle set with red and blue cash cards, am very jealous of the red one. impact set is always very impressive.

Hey Russell,

It was awesome meeting up with you in Melbourne. Did I thank you for turning on the weather for me? Couldn't see through the glare of all that sunshine!! :p

LOVE the cards. Given your city's crime rate, you better send them along to me for safe keeping ASAP!! :kick:

Wow!! What a mailday!!

Like Raj I'm green with envy at the 0006 Impact card, that is a huge pickup. As is the AB....and the unredeemed impact card....and the red cash card....the hits just keeeeeeeep on comin'!

Well done Russ, couldn't have gone to a nicer bloke.

N.B. I see a couple of people didn't vote the Border as the holy grail of cricket cards - what do they believe beats it? The 1998 Select Bradman auto?? Perhaps the 1995 Select Bradman 4 card set all numbered the same /10?

Hi guys tks for the support.

In response to Nazim's comments, the weather in Melbourne was absolutely lousy with no sun to be seen. :(
As far as the cards go BatNaz, you can't take them back to Gotham (Bathurst) City. :red:
I shall speak to the Chief and see what I can do LOL

I am off on holidays on Monday so will be back on-line from 24 June with a week at home so will have time to
engage in some discussion.

As always happy hunting and may the unopened packs be kind

regards Russell

I paid $700 for my redeemed Elite Impact card /50.

Got a steal on the redeemed Decider Impact /25, only paid about $400 from memory.

Seller can name their price really, they just never ever ever appear for sale. There is no way I would sell mine for the prices I paid. This elite /50 one Russ bought from Matty was the first I have seen other than the my 2. No doubt there are more out there but they seem to be locked away never to see the light of day.

What great pickups. They are all great cards. I also love the set of impact cards. I have some promo ones and that is it. Well done Russell
