I was at Rebel Rabina, and asked about them and knew nothing of them. I could see Revolution packs in a cupboard behind the tills but none out for sale. Got to move them asap in my mind. Will there be a second revolution ?

Just seen on the Rebel web site these packs are $8 or $6 if you buy more than one pack.

Poor things :) In NZ Rebel is owned by The Briscoe Group who's marketing has their stores on sale across the board. Say 25% off store wide. But no cards stocked over here :(

It's a high stakes game, if from what has been said Select have lost the AFL licence. That's the business gone unless they can pick up another sport. Again rumours are that they have picked up NRL (lucky both were up for renewal at the same time). Select have done a good job before with NRL ...

Thanks for that insight. I'm sure there's a lot of "star" players from the past that are doing it tough in their post playing days that would be more than happy to get some extra cash. Not everyone can monetise on field success in their playing retirement.

Like your thinking, what would add value is to have subsets where more star players from the past (license issues maybe) more from major clubs. There's nothing worse than pulling a low numbered or signature cards and it's a dud team or player. We could all real off ten greats from our club of...
