50% and they still walk out!

Man.... you need to listen to the interview Hunter had with Bill Simmons and the one Raja Bell did with some other place. Don't listen to the "spin king".

As I said in another thread, the OWNERS are the ones being greedy little b*tches, not the players!!

I've listened to them all!

The fact it the NBA went up from 47% to 50% - Now that November is cancelled it means millions more in losses so the next offer will be lower!

50% is freakin HEAPS! Greed Greed Greed by all concerned!

If you offer $1 for a $10 item at a garage sale and the owner says no, so you move to $2, you can say hey I'm trying to negotiate, I moved my price, it still doesn't change how undervalued the offer is. Sounds like you are buying into spin. I want a season as much as the next, but don't buy into spin.

Exactly! The players are the ones that have actually moved from something they actually HAD in the last agreement, from 57 to 52%... the owners already knew before hand that the players would never accept anything under 50% so TBH the owners really haven't made many concessions at all. I guess they have made some concessions on the system issues, but most of what they were demanding were ridiculous anyway.... they started off so low so that when they do concede something it makes it appear they are making soo many concessions.

It's an opinion; Just as what you wrote above is your opinion.

I believe the players are being selfish and I am stating that is my opinion.

I am not buying into any spin any more than you are, we ach have done our research and formed an opinion. My opinion differs from yours but that is fine we can agree to disagree :)

Agreed, they did start off low but as you intimated, there have been consession made elsewhere and they have got back up to 50% now.

I think it's a pretty fair deal but I guess we will all have to wait and see where it ends up.......will it go up to 52% - I think it will!

Did anyone see Micky Arison get fined $500,000 for this one twitter?

In one, Arison responds to a message by a follower, who called the owners and players "greedy" and said they are ruining the game. Arison responded with: "You are barking at the wrong owner."

Another follower asked Arison what he thought of Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Arison's response: "lol."

Obviously some major division between the big market and small market owners.
