If you are who I think you are then you and I both know what you tried to pull on me at the last Sydney card show.....and I nearly fell for it too, considering I have the upmost respect for the collectors on this forum I thought I had no reason to be worried...even after a few warned me about you....all I will say is for your sake I truly hope you are not at the next show in Sydney.

pm me what he tried to do

guys i have no problem posting what happened, i have pm it to admin and with their blessing i will post after they read it

Thanks for your blessing Matt....lol, please all keep in mind that when i was dealing with this person i 1) didnt think i had any reason to be suss as ive had nothing but good dealings on here and at these shows. and 2) yes i was warned but i believe in benefit of the doubt and a second chance.

This is what happened at the last Sydney show, i will not mention names or even the cards involved as i think a few people noticed what was going on and i would prefer not to involve them in this, rather if this is to be posted for everyone to see it should be used as a warning never to deal with this person and not give him the benefit of the doubt as i did, even after i was warned.

At the last show in Sydney, there was a spare table setup or empty and a few were using it to trade/sell between eachother. I always take my trade bait to these shows and i walked over to see if i could get involved. Whilst trying to complete a deal with another member the person in question walked over and asked if he could take a look at the cards i had for trade (i will say that it was the person in the youtube video posted already in the thread) naturally i said yes that he was more than welcome. The cards he took a liking to were some what high end. After completing the initial trade i had going with someone else i was warned by 2 different people to be careful of dealing with this person. I took the advice and decided to try a smaller deal first. So i picked a card that i wanted from what he had and offered him a card he was interested in. Naturally he jumped on it as i was giving him alot more value which ever way you look at it. I had a quick glance over the card he gave me (my first mistake and i have nobody to blame but myself as upon later inspection the card was damaged on the back but covered up with a pen or some kind of ink, photos of this are available at any time for proof) anyway i accpeted the trade as the higher end stuff if completed correctly would have been very beneficial to me, not only in terms of $$ but also with the card i would have recieved in the deal.

Moving to the next deal, the card he wanted from me as i stated was somewhat high end and yes it was a Michael Jordan card, after offering me 30% of my asking price i laughed it off and truly believed this guy cant be that bad can he? after futher discussion i became involved in another conversation for literally 30 seconds, and when i turned around this person was on the otherside of the room talking to somebody else, my Michael jordan card was gone. I immediately walked over to him and asked for my card, he had placed it in his "box/pouch" that he had his other cards in and when i wasnt looking he walked off!! I stayed as calm as possible considering this act would usually involve a flogging for even trying it. He took the card out and handed it to me stating "i thought you agreed to the deal", i can assure you all that there was no deal set. I took the card back and walked off, he then followed me and said "ok i will give you $*** (my asking price) but will pay you by paypal next week, you have to give me the card today though".................after what he tried to pull on me hes lucky it didnt turn nasty at that point. I calmly told him that i didnt want to deal with him any further.

The reason why i havent mentioned this before is because i was warned about him by 2 experienced and respected members of OCT, and even though i tested him with a smaller deal first it is my fault for giving this scumbag the benefit of the doubt.

This is what happened on that day.... i was given a card from him touched up with ink (my own fault).............. and he also took my card without my knowledge and just walked off!! Un-bloody-believable!!!.........i have no time for the goose and neither should anyone, i stand by my original comment in the thread, for his sake i hope he doesnt show up at the next show.

That is absolutely horrible!! I have no doubt know that jordan_patch23 is the bad guy not WEGOTSTOCK99 unless Amy can provide picture/video proof or something that can change my mind. Wow, that's disgusting.

Man that's some dodgy ****. You know, it's funny how you can usually tell by the way someone writes, let alone speaks whether they are genuine or not and I gotta say Khouzza I believe in your account of your encounter.

The point I would like to make is that I see no reason why occurrences such as these shouldn't be openly discussed and people left to make up their own mind as to who to trust or not. I understand people don't want to damage reputations and so forth and sometimes people are out to get each other for whatever reason and people lie.
But seeing people get away with this kind of behaviour is even worse, as by not openly discussing such matters we are practically condoning it.

Good on ya Matt for giving the go ahead. When it comes to the hobby being kept respectable, honestly should be of utmost importance and the truth about people like that should out the open.

holy crap. ripping people off is bad enough, but stealing... [-X

Didn't your auction (before it was edited) say 'your friend' jrsmith_23... interesting to clarify him as a friend if you'd never spoken to him before...

exactly what I first thought when I read the response. the timing doesn't make any sense :-k

@amy
in terms of support - you won't get any from this community if jrsmith_23 is your ally

i Have dealt with Khouzza who has even came over to my house for a sale and he is a very honest guy

With Ray I have met him at card shows and believe what khouzza has said 100%

i also hope i never catch him at the card show either

I remember once myself brought my PC logoman collection and ersk brought his exquisites for show, if he had tried that crap on me hahaha he would be in hosiptal eating through a straw for a long time.

So wait this "amy" is married to a banned member? So odds are Amy is an alias account? I don't know its all too confusing.

Seeings that from different screenshots and info thats been posted OZCT is the only forum that Ray has been banned from. Would encourage those that are members of other trading card forums apart from ours to rehash khouzzas story. This guy is scum and other collectors should be aware who they're dealing with.

I'd like to know how many people on this site create different accounts on Ebay for their spouses and claim to sell clothing.

The days of contact counselling are out the window, it's not worth it anyway.

So wait this "amy" is married to a banned member? So odds are Amy is an alias account? I don't know its all too confusing.

Amy says that she and her husband are Australian. This banned member is Asian, so we will have to "take Amy's word for it" like everything that she is Australian.

As the saying goes "If it smells like Sh!t and looks like Sh!t then it must be Sh!t.

The fact that there has been a need to change to change the description in the originally posted ebay listing plus blatantly lie by claiming not to know jrsmith_23 who was only a day before referred to as being a friend does not provide any credibility to the claims.
