No matter. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Mavs get up in the next game. Both teams are capable of it. Miller had his looks today, he just didn't hit them.

The problem with game 2 is the Heat got lazy and thought they had it wrapped up with a 15 point lead. Also they didnt have any good shots at the end of the game and all I heard was Lebron for 3, Wade for 3 etc with like 1min left. They should have attacked the basket instead of jacking up 3's but credit to the MAVS there interior D was forcing the Heat to shoot perimiter shots.
With 3 games now in Dallas I find it hard for the heat to win this series. They need at least 1 win in Dallas to force it back to South Beach for game 6 otherwise its all over

No my complete point is that throughout the first two games, apart from this last quarter of Game 2 - the Mavericks have just looked outmatched. I can't be bothered to get into a debate of technicalities, those were just my comments, reacting fresh from the game. Take them however you want. The same to you Heafy
That's just my personal observation from the two games that I've watched.
Watching the post-game press conference live. LeBron and Wade are talking about how the loss was due to defense. I guess that's true since the Mavericks scored a lot of points in not a lot of time. You can never expect LeBron to own up to taking bad shots though I guess.. Although it'd be a different story if he made them. Bit of a double-edged sword there.
I totally agree with what you're saying, other than that last qtr of todays game Miami have soaked up Dallas' best and then totally anhilated them when they turn up the intensity. But, now it's 1-1 and back to Dallas which might see them playing the way they were before these games. Gonna be very interesting to see what happens now.

I wouldn't say they have seen Dallas' best. But the thing is, the Heat's defense through 7 1/2 quarters has been stifling, and that's a constant that is a lot easier to keep the same, than variables like getting hot shooting etc. When watching Dallas' offense through the last 2 games, I can definitely say the Heat's defense is not the best match-up for them. Normally you beat the Heat's defense with a dissecting point guard or some dominant bigs, and you have to push it and get points in transition too. The Mavericks don't really do any of those things well, apart from Dirk but although he's a big, a lot of his points come away from the basket.

Just watched the replay and i'll forgive LeBron for the last 3 he took, he really didn't have a choice having the ball given back to him with 3 seconds on the clock. Saying that he needed to go inside earlier, he's a strong guy and has the ability to get to the rim seemingly whenever he want's so i don't know why he and Wade needed to let it get to the point of jacking treys.
I think complacency on D on the Heats behalf was the reason they lost this one, they thought they had it in the bag, relaxed then the Mavs (or more so Das German) ran all over them. I think the Heat will come out all guns blazing in Dallas so should be a cracker of a game, can't wait to watch it

Yeah I excused Wade for that one 3 although there was 9 seconds left on the shot-clock, clearly he must have been fatigued from playing a hell of a game and attacking so much.
LeBron on the other hand, definitely should have attacked. Too much hero ball from him. Why he was slowing it down and calling iso's when the Heat had a 8-14 point lead with 5 minutes left is beyond me. He should have just run the offense.
But yes, no regrets I guess. No time for that in the Finals. Game 3 should be exciting. Pity we have to wait til Monday

Having not seen the game (Going to watch the replay at 8.00 tonight) I'm assuming the heat crumbled in the 4th??? Not to worry though LeRing and the heat will bounce back for sure.

another miami meltdown..... wade took 2 shots in the final 5 minutes.. he was on fire and lebron just pounded the ball to death, killing any movement
