Hey All

bought a card off an aussie ebay seller (nothing special just an Artest RC) - paid $2.50 for postage and it arrived today in a padded envelope but no toploader or soft sleave...card is undamaged but do you think it warrants a neg? I have already gotten positive feedback so there is no chance of a retalliation neg...

so what do u guys think i should do?

I had a similar situation recently and left a neutral with very harsh feedback message. I think that is fair if card is undamaged....but others must be warned.
 
Are you happy with the card and its condition?

If so, leave positive with a message about the card protection.

If not, leave a negative about the protection.
 
no for me a straight out neg - you were just lucky not to get a damaged card. Nobody reads the neutrals.... but seems like I am the only one here who thinks that :)

Just said that you were a mate, and what you meant by the comment, and that I didnt appreciate his comment(s) back, and to use top-loaders in future.
 
what a dumbass, so what does he expect, he sends a card raw, it gets bent, and then what, its his fault??

damn straight it is mongo, u should just tell the retard that common sense dictates that u sell a card, u mail it in an envelope, then u send the card protected, otherwise it might get damaged, and then whose fault is it??
 
i had a response!

The auction was not for trading card protectors, if you wish to have them included, this will add cost to your postage, the protectors cost more than the price you paid for the cards. If there ever a problem, e mail before you bid, to save these misconceptions. Teresa

LOL, coz i wasnt buying protectors thats why my card wasnt sent in one...god damn idiot
 
That has got to be the stupidest thing i have ever heard. i mean a penny sleeve is only $.01 (hence the name) and the toploader is like what $.15.

From now on, every auction i win im going to ask them to ship it in a penny sleeve and toploader and ill add $.16 to the total....
 
zero tolerance for bad packaging i say
auto neg regardless of condition of received card(s)
a loud message must be sent to those not with the program

condition matters, therefore so does packaging.
i'd take a card in a white envelope with a toploader, over a card without a toploader in a padded bag
