Yer, reminds me of when i was a kid and had to actually really work to trade and complete sets
Well I am sure I will make no friends at Select, I just gave them a royal blast on their facebook page for the crap product they gave us this year.
Don't worry about your rant I'm pretty sure they either don't read it or don't care.
Given some of the poor quality comments and looking at the number of inserts there is to complete the series and the total possible $$$$ investment I'm kinda OK with it...... as at least I feel justified in my decision to only collect for my PC......apart from 1 box and a folder......and a few packs here and there.........maybe a trade or two.....he'll it seems like I am collecting it...

Cheers guys,
I'm missing #'s 1,2,17, 37, 57, 75, 95, 119, 139, 157, 159, 177, 179, & 181.
14 cards short! If anyone has them ALL spare and wants to trade straight up for my 63 doubles, I'm in! Not sure if it's worth another $100-box investment...

I kinda liked it in those days - coz everyone at school had their cards with them and it was easy. And at 30 cents a pack, I'd love to be making the money I'm making now and turning the clock back to 1987! Boxes would only be about ten bucks!
Anyone received a signature card yet with fading and/or scratches on it that they inquired to Select about?
Yeh I have 3 here + stacks of base and SP's, I actually rang Select and all I got was to write a letter of complaint to their production manager.
I think the quality was probably good originally, i'm thinking that the machine that gets the cards into the packets clearly doesn't get along with the ink on the signature cards very well, looks like some kind of roller takes off the ink during the process.
WOW poor quality control select.
