Just got to watch this game last night, although we split 5 and 3, very happy we were able to get that one, and what a way to do it.

Well on to the Next game at home against the Spurs lets get to 40 Wins and 25-4 @ Home!!Televised on OneHD 2moz 2nd game of a Double Header!!!

Well going for 3 straight in Utah 2nite.....Up 19 after 3!!!Also beat the spurs easily with out Kobe or Andrew and doing it easy with out then now!!!

Well lets get this back up and running....

Nice little 3 Game Win Streak, going for 4 against the Warriors....

Kobe will sit out this game and may be in doubt for the Celtics on Friday(Thursday US Time)But we do get Drew back for some added depth inside, mind you Lamar has been playing great in the starting lineup!!:wave:

Lets get this one!!

4 seasons ago, if Kobe was sitting a game out, it was really painful to watch. Now... not so bad. :D

Was happy with how we handled the Spurs the other day, and now we got a shot at home against the Celtics, looking to take the season series without the leagues greatest player.

What better way to dog the Cletics? Hope they can hang in there and get the job done. Doing a great job so far. LO, Pau, Ron Ron and Bynum all stepping it up. =D>

I think it's time for a TO Doc... ;)

Ah well a 1PT loss to the Celtics @ home with out Kobe aint so bad.....I can handle that....Although we wont see those smeltics till next season....

Im kinda glad Kobe sat out coz we dont play again till wed (our time) gives him a chance to heal those injurys.....Now the lakers are all about the post season i would think cant see us not having the #1 spot in the West..I belive when we are healthy no one on the league can beat us.....:thumbsup:

Absoloutely. That's why I'd rather KB take all the time he needs. We struggled down the end there tonight without a real closer, Lamar tried to step up to the challenge, we had some key plays from various players but no one taking charge like KB can, not even Pau, giving it up and forcing it to Brown for a bad, bad turnover when the game was on the line. That's why we really need Bryant back healthy. So if that takes a week, if that takes a month, I don't care, this team has already proven they're playoff ready without him and can run with the top teams without their superstar, so take your time and come back healthy! We got a title to defend. :)

oops! slipped up today did we?
not as bad as our one to the i don't wanna say it..........................NETS
but up there

are the bobcats riding a bit of a high at the moment or is it MJ's midas touch?
Tyrus Thomas?

on a side note: i dunno why the hell Gerald Wallace wears a mouth guard, it's always hanging out of his damn mouth!!! i seen a pic on a card today with exactly that! mid flight, mouthguard out! genius this bloke!

I think the only reason is so he can chew on it..... :lol:

The Cats have won 7 of their last 9 against the Lakers now. It's funny how they can be so dominant against theams like the Lakers and Cavs yet are still very mediocre at best. Atleast if they make it to the finals they have a good chance of taking it from the bigger teams :)

If you look at the History between the Lakers and Bobcats they pretty much always beat us. No biggie and yeah, it definitely ain't up there with a loss to the Nets this season. :lol:

i only watched the highlights but MAN that looked like a great battle between Barnes and Kobe! love how Kobe didn't flinch when he got fake thrown at.
great battle!

Well i thought i should get this thing going before playoff time is upon us....

A couple of things i have noticed over the last few weeks...

*The Lakers miss Bynum more than Bryant
*They are THE most frustrating team to watch
*The Bench need to start puling their weight a little more
A few examples....

We beat the Jazz pretty easily then get spanked all round staples by the spurs w/o Parker

Get spanked by the Thunder...

When they decide to play DEFENSE we are pretty much un-beatable, defense turns our offensive up a notch!!

So we have 5 Games left

@Nuggets
@Timberwolves
VS Blazers
VS Kings
@Clippers, Well its at Staples....

We have the capability to win all 5 Games.....
Lets hope they wrap up the Top spot with a W in Denver then we can concentrate on the Playoffs and use some reserves in the final 4 games....And some much needed rest for Kobe and Pau

If the Playoffs were to finish today we would play the Thunder in the 1st Round....But the playoff picture is changing everyday...in the last 5 days its gone from the Spurs, Blazers and now the Thunder....Whos next???

Well time to gear this this thing for the PLAYOFFS BABY!!!!!

Some much needed rest for Kobe.....There isnt a whole lotta love for the Lakers, well when is their really....???No one thinks we can get past the Nuggets if we both advance, im pretty sure thats what was being said last year also??and what happened???

Lets just take care of BUSINESS at home for the 1st 2 games and see what happens when we hit OKC, sure the Thunder are playing great ball, but im afraid that dont mean squat come playoffs.....So untill monday our time........

I hate this turn it on/turn it off crap, it just doesn't work for anyone. All I'm gonna say is when push comes to shove, i hope they can take care of business. Lot's of injuries, people going out, people coming back. Can't help but think it's going to effect us but I'll stay positive and as you said, get the first two home games and then we'll see what's up in OKC.

3 hours and 45 minutes til tip off, that time of the year again only difference is now we got a championship to defend. :woot:

I haven't posted in this thread for a while...the Lakers regular season was over just after Xmas and was waiting for the real season to begin!

First of all - welcome back Drew! The Lakers are just too big and experienced for the younger Thunder...although not sure if I like the 'get a big lead then coast to the finish' game - Durant can eliminate any lead in the blink of an eye. Would like to see the boys play at least 3/4 and bench it up in the last 12 mins.

The road through the West is a rocky one this year, with a lot of teams that match up well against the Lakers...we will be hard pressed to advance. In the East however, the NBA has taken the unusual step of cancelling the playoffs and advancing the Cavs to the finals. :D

Solid start to the playoffs tonight...game 1 is always critical for Jackson coached teams. Bring on game 3 on Wed. =D>

yeah well done by the lakers!! they played great half court set Defense!! transition is another story Ron Ron played durant really well. Westbrook is going to be the problem in the series... not durant
