thanks mate btw when is the 1st round due? and what will happen if there's a unplayed games? Sorry cant really play often because of my other commitments and busy schedule........

Don't worry I feel the same. I've played 19 games but only played 1 in the last week.

The next bunch is due 4th April, if you check a few pages back you'll see Digeze put up a list of the games due for then.

I'm not actually a mod so not good to ask me what'll happen, ask Digeze or Nenjabin.

Hey mate, when you free to play our game this week? Any times better than others? Looks like I'll have some free time Tuesday ~5:30-11:00.

Michael, in Season 1, are the playoff spots switching round to match real NBA or remaining in the order they are seen? Also, how many weeks left of deadlines before playoffs? Hoping not too long, or ages :lol: Since I might struggle to get some games done for a 6 week period starting 2 weeks from now.

We were going to give it a final 2 week deadline to complete the remaining games. Looking at the list now though, the red highlighted are matchups involving inactive teams (New Orleans, Dallas and Atlanta) so there are actually only 5 matchups with potential of being played.

So we can take a vote?

1-Sim the rest and get these playoffs started asap

2-Give it a week for the last 5 games to have an opportunity to be completed

3-Leave the 2 week deadline in place

Could Season 1 participants could get back to us asap on this one.

Also, congrats to Ranga for finally securing that last playoff spot in the East :thumbsup:

I would probably vote for the simming, but those 5 could have some crucial consequences. Mostly the Golden State games...though Howey has expressed that he's no longer interested in, or has time for Season 1...which begs the question should he technically be listed as "inactive"? I know John (Lakers) is active, is only 1 game behind Howey, and would just about knock off a 1st round playoff series with me (which would be the likely make-up of the playoffs if he slipped into that 4th spot) in a single night. So really, with the East locked up and the West only deciding on Warriors/Lakers for the final spot and Howey being arguably inactive, the season is pretty much dusted despite those 5 games.

Maybe get in contact with Howey and see what he thinks/would do with/for that playoff spot. No point having it simmed so he's in and then he and I having a simmed series...

Haha thanks mate, although its a double edge sword i get in but also get to play the undefeated in this league Vivo, so my chances arent looking good at all, im just going to try and play my game and see how it goes.

Got a big trade done in league 2 Bosh, Alston and Radman for R.Allen, Milsap and Joey Graham, getting a great shooter in Allen and lose the enigma of having to use Bosh really well or hes a waste because of his rating, well thats how i feel about him anyway.

although dissapointed that i have to auto lose the won against big tee but oh well

You never know mate, i havnt played with the "real" Boston for about a month or so, so i could be a bit rusty ;)

Lol you could be made of rust and still beat me, owell my first ever playoffs after a few leagues in 2k9 and a few in 2k10 so thats all that matters, just going to be fun thats all i know.

The way I see it, you pulled the pin on a losing game for seemingly no reason. No excuse given. No apology. Inconveniencing others. I myself have pulled the pin on a game before, even though it was after the 1st quarter only, and I jumped straight on here, gave my excuse and apology to the other member, AND I gave him the Sim win for the inconvenience, despite the game being in the balance and early at the time.

I now don't play unless I know I have time to complete a whole game. Pretty simple really.

"I had to go out", meaning? Explanation? Howcome all of a sudden that you didn't know about it less than 45minutes before when you started the game? Feel free to explain.

Not meaning to be rude/harsh, but that's not an excuse as it stands. At least with me had a genuine detailed excuse, and I gave the other member the win regardless.

So how about we go ahead and sim the remaining Dallas, New Orleans and Atlanta games to start with....then we just need to chase up a response from Howey regarding Golden State.

Maybe give those last 5 games a couple of days warning???

Haha now that's more of an excuse. But not 1 worth a game reset unfortunately. My excuse was pretty much the same except it was my Fiance that got annoyed and I preferred to keep my head attached :lol: I think you'll be fine giving up that game as a loss, as I was.

yeh i rpobs wouldve lost it anyway, been playing bad
although i played good against ben, but that was only practice, i seem to be a bit of a choker

Agreed. Though are we assuming they're losses for those inactive teams yes? And if so, that'll leave Howey a game out of the playoffs with 2 actual active games to play, if he chooses to keep active enough.

Couple of days warning is good too. I spose it all comes down to Howey cause he has 2 of those active games left.

I'm obviously more than happy to play my game against GreenGoblin, if we can get a time to, but then I spose it doesn't matter much if I don't get it in. I have a game against him due in S2 also!

OK, Season 1 inactive teams have been simmed out.

5 games remaining.

The only playoff spot still up in the air is the battle for the 4th seed in the West. Golden State can actually finish as high as 3rd seed if they win their final two games and portsie loses his finale.

Hopefully these games can be sorted asap....i'll chase up Andrew about his Season 1 games remaining.
