Finally have a chance here today to share some recent pickups I obtained. My printer and scanner busted on me over a month ago so that is why I have been unable to share any pickups I had last month. To make a long story short, I have been busy with my classes down here at school this semester and when I finally got a chance to get some much needed errands done yesterday, in the process I took the printer and scanner to a best buy in the area only to find out that it would be cheaper if I got a new printer and scanner instead. So I gave them the old printer and scanner to recycle and now got a new printer and scanner in place. I guess for this thread I probably should of renamed it "Out with the old and in with the new" LOL.
Now with my new printer and scanner in place, I finally can show you the recent pickups I have had since I last put results up:
I ended up buying this on ebay. I usually don't buy IP autos on ebay. I was skeptical at first. Before I bidded on this item, I asked the seller more questions about it. When he responded back to my message indicating in full details how he obtained this item IP, I decided to bid on it and I ended up the winner.
This came in a redemption I pulled 3 months back. This has been my only hit from this awful product Panini created this season. That first part of his auto looks more like an "L" and not a "C". He needs to learn how to write his first name lol.
Last month, I ended up celebrating my birthday. On the same day I celebrated my 24th birthday, I ended up heading to the local card shop in downtown Huntington and picked up a box of the new Panini Certified that came out. This Panini product in my opinion is a good product. Here are the big hits I had out of this box:
Its always nice to pull a good card of a player your collecting. I liked how they designed the Tayshaun Prince GU card that I pulled in this box. That is all I ended up getting on my birthday.
Here are some other recent pickups I had from the same shop here in Huntington. I got these all yesterday:
Always nice to get an auto of a Celtics player that is hard to get IP. Since I have no intrest in attempting the Celtics IP, I will settle for this. Glad I have no intrest in attempting the Celtics as I have heard they were horrible in Detroit last week. The Prince is obviously for the PC.
Also ended up busting a few packs of the Panini Certified. Here are the big hits I had from these packs:
