Them 1st Day Issues are sweet.

Is that first one a power booster, 95-96 or so? i remember having a Shaq that looked similar.
Weird too, brings back memories, I think it was some shopping centre in Campbelltown or somewhere, and there was actually a vending maching that dispensed packs of cards, so I get this pack of topps and out comes this sick looking Shaq, i was stoked!!!!!!

Yeah mate its from 96, not sure if its called a power booster though, the name rings a bell. I remember those card dispensing machines they always had the cheapo packs though.
 
Mail on a Saturday is nothing new..been getting it every week for years...it's called "The Late Mail" on the Racing Channel :lol::lol:

yeah, lol, perfect for a povo 16 year old like myself, I had to save up for the high end **** like that emotion stuff trying to get a Grant Hill rookie or an MJ N-tense :D
 
haha yeah i was the same, saved pocket money for months to get the set of Dynamic Dunks back then. My old lady used to give me $5 every thursday to buy a pack of cards at the local Westfields while she went shopping, kept me out of her hair i guess :lol:
 
love the 1st day issue set, very nice. I think they're numberd to 1,000 made too nick. incase U didnt know. plus the finest master gold is a cracker of a card. the diecut embossed parallel is very very nice. If u can get the refractor version, get ready to fork out over $600-$700us from memory. very nice

Cheers for the info Steve, don't think i'll be getting the die cut refractor any time soon then if thats the case haha.
As for the 1st day issues yeah your right, i was doing some research on them earlier today and found an article that said there were 1000 of each card in the set made. They were 1:24 packs with 360 in the set so the odds of pulling one of the 3 Jordans was 1:2880 packs :eek:
I was lucky to get all 3 off the one seller too :)
