Where 2 PMG Green Alonzo Mourning Happens !!

Around 1997-98 Season, I came across knowing there is card called Precious Metal Gem Green.

I have collected Alonzo Mourning cards since 1994 and ZO has been my all time # 1 player.
(My collection is not a big deal though.)

As soon as I noticed existance of that PMG Green I can't stop my attempting to find and get that crazy PMG Green ZO.


Then(around 1998-1999) one close broker told me he can get PMG Green ZO (I have not been sure he lied me or not..anyway).

That broker told me owner wanted 200$ for PMG Green ZO. (At that time, BV might be around 240$ kinds.)

So I gave broker 200$ for PMG Green ZO. and I was really excited !!

But around a few month later, he told me owner already sold that card to abroad.


I was really disappointed but there was no way to get any PMG Green ZO.


Funnily, I saw MJ PMG Green as my eyes but I haven't been able to see any Alonzo Mourning PMG Green !!


And time gone and gone. Internet environment developed so I could find another crazy Alonzo Mourning collections.

Interesting thing was Nobody had PMG Green ZO even few people had 1998-99 Ultra Masterpiece or 1998-99 Metal Gem Master Alonzo Mourning !
(I can't remember that owner's website anymore though.)

I could find there is two PMG Green Alonzo Mourning at RnB Shop.

But those were only for display.
(Actually I contacted Red & Blue Shop upper clerk or one of owner through e-mail and asked about selling one of that.
But he told that's not available for selling.)



Time gone and gone. But I hadn't been able to find and buy or trade any Alonzo Mourning PMG Green.

Ebay couldn't help to get my dream card. No Card Dealer can help me to get my pursuit. There were no way to get only one PMG Green ZO.





And Last year, Red & Blue Japanese Shop started to sell PMG Green cards.

There were still 2 PMG Green Alonzo Mourning.


I wasn't sure that price was appropriate or not.
(Sorry, I don't tell about price at this thread. Because I don't want. Long time to get this irritable PMG Green. )

But I had founded this irritable card at least 12 years.

So I just checked condition and bought better condition 1 PMG Green ZO without hesitate.

Actually I considered to buy 2 ZO PMG Green.

But before that, I bought T-MAC and Penny PMG Green so I would want to save a bit money.


Anyway one PMG Green ZO came in the house.



Even I bought 1 PMG Green ZO but I hadn't checked RnB Shop site because I would want to buy another one when I save more money.

But one day that was sold.

SO I gave up and make up my mind as satisfied only One PMG Green ZO.



Time gone and gone...Then....

The Same PMG Green ZO I didn't buy appeared at Bay !

I think it was my last chance to get this PMG Green ZO if I want.

So these are result of above story.

P.S. : Actually I really considered to trip to Tokyo located RnB Shop to ask selling that PMG Green.

I thought and thought and I thought that owner of shop won't sell that card so I didn't go there.

But if possiblity was high to convince selling that card, I might go to Tokyo just to buy and pick up that irritable card. (This is not j/k.)

You really need to get yourself a nice camera to take some better pics of them though and show off the sexy look of them better

Yah, to get PMG Green is really irritable.

That's the reason why I considered to go to Tokyo.

I think 2000's player collectors would have to appreciate poor fleer 's financial and mechanical status. Think about LBJ PMG Green or Melo PMG Green.



If you haven't gotten Ewing PMG Green, hope to get that in the future.

It still involves travelling overseas though which is pretty extreme but after putting myself in your shoes I would probably do the same.

Who do I have to hunt down for that Ewing.
