Trade Rumours

oh trust me mate, the Swans would have to be stupid to get rid of Jolly, Seaby has few good games and he will never be a no. 1 ruckman in any team in the AFL. He is a number 2 back up ruck and the Swans won't last without Jolly in their ruck

And all 3 teams have confirmed that this will be done

The Dalziell/Staker trade is done but with a twist!!!! It involves 3 clubs in the same trade,

Brisbane Get: Brent Staker (WCE) and Amon Buchanon (SYD)
Sydney Get: Mark Seaby (WCE) and Draft pick No.28 from Brisbane
West Coast get: Bradd Dalziell and Draft Pick No. 22 from Sydney

Pretty complicated stuff but it works for us!!!! West Coast have bargained big time!

I am pretty Happy with that!

yeah i don't think we will be missing Fletcher that much lol. I think we will miss Stenglein and Wirra though

Josh Gibson is over at the Hawks now. This is the trade:

Kangas get: Picks 25, 41
Hawks get: Gibson, Pick 69

saints have offerd port there top draft pick and luke ball 2 port for burgoyne.
and bulldogs may trade dylan addison to get big bad bazza

Where's your source for the Saints offer to Port? As far as I can see Ball is still weighing up his options... and Burgoyne ain't answering the phone for anybody except certain people and those people don't belong to Port or AFL clubs that aren't Hawthorn.

Why would saints get Burgoyne, they got a heap of Midfielders. I know he is an elite player but next year there will be another guy in the "Luke Ball" situation

Ball rejects Saint deal, requests trade to Pies

FORMER St Kilda captain Luke Ball has rejected a three-year contract and requested a trade, nominating Collingwood as his club of choice.

Coach Ross Lyon said the club was "extremely disappointed" with Ball's decision.

"We were confident Luke would stay with the club, as he has always been a required player," Lyon said in a statement.

"However we will now do what is best for the St Kilda Football club's interests and those of its members and supporters with the aim of completing an equitable trade for a person of Luke's calibre, leadership, playing honours and experience."

The club said a three-year contract extension had been offered to Ball in June.

More to follow.

Hmmm well good luck convincing Burgoyne to go there lol

Oh and you'd know what he is thinking! :woot:

He'd be mad not considering a move to the Saints, they'd be a HOT chance at winning a Premiership next year......better chance than the Hawks IMHO!
BTW - Why aren't you posting any Hawks propaganda on the "other" site (tic)(lol) :p

thats pretty big news really... the fact they offered him a 3 yr deal and hes said no

there are obviously some underlying issues there... why else would you wanna leave a club that has just offered you a 3 yr deal and is on the verge of a premiership?? strange...
