2nd series "Classics

Here is what is in the 2nd series of the NRL cards called "Classics"

This year's second release by Select Australia for the NRL features a new design, including
Holo Jersey Die-Cut Cards (1 per pack),
Double Trouble,
Premiership Predictors,
Top Prospect Signatures (1 per 36 packs, 300 numbered cards of each player),
Club Player of the Year (1 per 8 packs),
Team of the Year (1 per 18 packs)
and
Captain Signature Redemptions, featuring 6 Captains with 50 cards signed of each.

in my opinion this looks like a very good series and i am very happy with the look of them too

Those common cards look good but the rest seem so boring and yet another rehash. I really wish they could have done some material cards of some sort. Wonder who the captain cards will be of. While it is great to have something so limited to dream of pulling. It makes a master set a practical impossibility for the average collector.

No Idea on sigs yet as for a release date its either the 13th or 20th of july as far as i am aware.

the next step would be a case share too i suppose?

I love this series so far. I just think the common cards look a little boring or plane. They look good but need someting in the background.

I hope the Captains signature is Thuston

Case share sounds good.....but i want no part in organising it and dont blame anyone else for not wanting to either.

After all the effort Foldee went to with the XL case share that didnt end up happening

(that being said i would like afew boxes)

Thanks for the info. Tomane needs to be top prospect for Melbourne. Tamou or Rapira for Cowboys in my opinion. Maybe even Scott Bolton.

Looks very noice, was hoping for GU cards but what can ya do? Can't wait!!

Some of the sets look like the Cent series last year, I like the idea of serial numbered inserts makes it more appealing IMO

I didn't get into the series 1 this year but would be interested in a case share if the ball gets rolling

That's right Dave... 16 boxes in a case. On average that means 1 x Captain Signature per case and with only 300 cases available I reckon it will be a sell out in no time.

Who do you think will be the Captains? I'd be surprised if they did another Orford Signature after last years Prize Card Redemption.

You would be keen on a Lockyer sig wouldn't you???

Release date is expected to be the end of the month. I suggest it will be after the 27th.

yeah but if we had someone that could get it for wholesale we would be looking at $145 probably.

yeh i believe it will be 16 boxes to a case..

i saw that the AFL was 6400 boxes which was 400 cases.. so i'm guessing the same for NRL.

The cards will be released last week of July and the name of this series of Rugby is called Pinnacle not Classic.
The pricing will be available approximately around the 17th July.

Is what i was sent today from my card shop when i asked for a quote on a case..
