Hi Everyone,

Lately, I am just collecting some autos and realized that I am getting NBA 50 players little by little.. I am happy that some of the NBA 50 autos are cheaper than Rudy Gay or Daniel Gibson autos ... my one auto/one player PC has grown bigger, thanks to many members here, helping me and willing to sell me at very reasonable price, as well as, eBay buys from members here.. (Big thanks to Matt -theflyinggerco- who spent huge amount of time to create a player list)


Anyway, let's get started....

I will later show when I complete Dwight's number pieces project... now, i will just vaguely displayed what I received..

Courting Greatness /50 patch, I got it from Beckett Media online.. they have some nice cards.. Skybox RC and SPSE Gold Parallel are serially 8/25 and 9/25.. these are from Brad who didn't forget to bring some great cards from overseas... Leroy sent me free Dwight UD Portrait Parallel /75.. (Thanks very much Leroy )..
eBay buy...Artifact Gold /100 and etc..etc..

Below is.. One of my favorite insert sets of all time... Not only because they are the players I grew up with.. but also, they earned their names to give 100% on the court... so, here they are... my famous nicknames..

KG, my second auto.. I dunno why people do not bid more than 50% of BV on some cards.. I think sometimes, beckett is one of the main factors depreciating the real value of the card.. Crazily, this card is listed $50 only on beckett, so nobody wanted to pay US$25for this beauty.. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for KG's auto/jersey... costed me about US$26... It's actually lacking beckett's older cards valuation.. because In that set, Malone auto jersey is only $80 too... anyway, here it is.. (I like it very much and decided to buy because the jersey in the photo and fabric in the card is same colour).. I love when colours match..

Lastly, This one, my first auto of him.. and I gotta thank indirectly to StupidClerk who listed several Rodman autos before this auction ended.. many people chased StupidClerk ones and next day, I paid just 30 bucks for this Signature Decades /90.. I reckon pretty fair for on card #ed card...

Thanks for your comment.. yes.. Rodman is very sweet pickup for me...

Toni Kukc has two nicknames when he played in Europe/NBA.. the pink panther and the croation sensation.. Dunno why Pink Panther is chosen on that set though..

For Dominique Wilkins, I know two nicknames frequently used for him, "Nique" and "The Human Highlight Film".. But some people use Reel for him anyway..

"air" jordan card is simply amazing mate. I remember the days of trading for that card in primary school using my Penny hardways. That card brings back many good moments.

The KG is also amazing, pretty tough to find.

I second that.. I also want to see some nice old school themes.. because it sure did bring alot of memories.. I was so happy when I first got Penny's famous nickname insert..(still in my PC), like 12 years ago...

Yea.. Arenas, Croshere, Richard Hamilton, Iverson, Szczerbiak, Wade, Melo, Iggy, Bosh, Darko, Marion and others.. they have cool nicknames...

How power in the key, scoring king, slam cam, silky smooth, platnium potraits, autographics,ud 97-98 game jersey etc etc.......There all overdue and should be great to see again!!

Croshere's nickname is funny, at least, works for me, Austin Powers

and Darko's The Human Victory Cigar is bittersweet nickname, he could play under Larry Brown only when Pistons are having a big lead in the game.. it's a bit of sarcasm to Coach Brown, i guess.. but in Pistons, if you see him play, it means, Pistons are winning by large margin.. i just like the nickname.. not really how they play hehe.. like big smooth sam perkins..
