So.....I trade with our new french member Mister-ious I gave him a gold tony parker ref ...for a luke walton draft day patch /75 that I needed for the set (2 more to go) I get the uncirculated card and think beauty 2 to go.....then I turn it over to check numbering and see this...

"Thanks for trade Mister-ious" in permanent marker......!!!

I dont really care The card is kinda useless to me now unless someone knows a trick to get this off, but I just had to post as its one of the funniest and dumbest things I've ever encountered.

 

[The Truth]

Eucolyptus oil works a teat, but unsure on the effect it will have on the plastic case. Might need to find a cheapy test subject. Also try some packing tape, preferably clear, pull off a managable piece, partly stick it onto the texta and pull it off. Sometimes you can get lucky and it will slowly start pulling the texta off cleanly.

Metho on a cotton bud can sometimes remove the texta...try googling it...there'd be a heap of home remedies about. Nail polish remover might work too.

test it on a toplader or something similar first!!!

Tried eucolyptus a few years back and worked for 10 mins then I saw it slowly eat into the case lol. I just got a tip from a mate that if u go over permanent marker with a white board marker..eg trace it ..then they both whipe off as 1 ...gonna try it now.

Ethanol Shoes. Take it from a Lab worker. We use it to get permanent marker off plastic and glass all the time. Hope it works for you!

Just use alcohol..Metho...DONT use Nail Polish Remover (acetone) will destroy the case

Metho will get it off and no wreck the case, trust me im a chemist

thats basically the same as using alcohol, its just using the solvent in the white board marker to remove it
