Probably, yeah.
However, we see this sort of thing with card releases overseas all the time. What I am noticing is Select are moving more and more towards that format.

Totally agree. More variety in purchasing options, the better. It IS very American, but whatever. That's where their releases have been heading for ages now.

I am pretty sure it's the same image, different finishes/backgrounds. It's not unheard of in other sets of cards, so it was always going to happen with Select.

I think it's just an insert, no different to the ticket cards in NBA, MLB, etc.

Based on the name I assume Golden Ticket is some type of redemption?

It would be awesome if the card is redeemable if the player achieves any of the following that season: premiership, B&F, AA selection, club leading goal kicker etc.
