What's some underrated cards/sets you have found?

Looks, price, low print run - what do you think are some cool cards that haven't got wide spread talk?

Idea came from a youtube vid - they were saying Slam Funk - I'm not the hugest fan - you may be! And it depends on your budget too - like a PSA 10 KG is about 500 usd and a raw 150 - not too bad but I don't think I'd pay it - maybe someone who has had one in-hand can sway me otherwise!

I'll think of some more later but one that comes to mind for me is Electrifying - for me it's way better than Scoring Kings - while not totally comparable due to all the sparkles etc, the lightning and texture on this card is crazy good, especially under lights.

Anyway - what have you found that you LOVE????

texture looks nice but I can’t seem to like too many die cut cards - the way they sit in the sleeve/9 page/holder does my head in

Not numbered. About 1 per pack. There is a Gold version which is SSP

I saw one of these pop up on the insta and they were before my time, so I'm not sure they qualify as underrated, but I think they are a great looking card that I haven't heard much about. Unfortunately the following year the design wasn't anywhere near as nice

Not rare or anything, but basically everything from Skybox 1994-95 looks-wise. Just an incredibly well-designed set from base to inserts. The use of foil, the embossing, even the font they used throughout. Beautiful cards. Love them as much now as I did when they came out.

So Impeccable might not be underrated but it damn sure is under appreciated at the moment - give it a few years and these great designs with on card autos of legends will be highly sought after IMO


Received this one as a gift - once again shows the generosity of spirit in the community and especially on this forum - thanks again Ray!

Also received a few others but they will be added later to my legends/HOF/Top 100 threads

Always thought these cards were highly underrated.... can be bought for a few dollars each and lots of legends.....also some rookies too.

Agree @Matt26 ! Might do that set 2023 actually! could take a bit of effort depending on how fussy I want to be on centering, that set is notoriously off but I love it
