I'm always conflicted on these. I want the chase - the high end value inserts... glory in getting is just hugely rewarding - but it also fails alot as I rarely get them, and shuts out alot of the market that needs to be catered for - kids, families and just general team collectors. If we lose the latter then the former doesnt even happen.

yep i agree, this is really the only genuine fault I have this series
people have collected the all australian cards since 1995 and now they become unattaiable
if they replaced every non-insert pack in the production run here with a base all australian insert (so ration approx 1:4) they would be limited to 1641 each which makes them able to be collected by everyone to continue sets
then you have the limited AA like they have as the extra hit

63s in perfect condition
01 Captain sigs
Supremacy Brownlow / Premiership sigs (/25)
Dusty low numbers
Some HOF sigs (player / club dependant)
Winning brownlow redemptions
The dual sigs look nice. But not sure they will be commanding $1200+ unless it is a jumper number or 01
You think a cats card is going to command over $1200 mate? Im going off Showstoppers and Brilliance cards which are numbered similar...
I'll be surprised if any other than Richmond get to this level.
Not saying its not worth that but there simply isnt 50 collectors/people who will spend that on a card for most teams.
Yep I get what you’re saying that signed cards should be more valuable but there will still be 50 of them…
there were heaps of Lord cards around after Brilliance was released.
Im not talking prices or the series down at all…as a Richmond collector you don’t get a high end card for under $1k these days, just interested to see where it lands.

Great job. I actually forgot about Mitchell being in the draft pick sigs, here I was thinking I had 9 to collect, now it's 12. Way too many. Should have been 2 variations of draft sigs and replace one with something else maybe. I think I'll not be going for all 12, maybe just the 4 copper ones.
Disappointing release for team collectors.
Common cards featuring a bunch of players who have barely played this year, whilst recent recruits and last year's debutants are nowhere to be seen.
Optimum cards featuring the same group of players who have had multiple low level cards in Footy Stars and Prestige.
Draft pick signatures to pick 59 is ridiculous, and then to have three versions is massive overkill.
Really disappointed there are no certified signatures this year - that was a great concept, and the dual signature is too much for my budget.
Headliners & Specialists look okay, but there are some odds names on the list.
And worst of all, making All Australian cards a limited, numbered card, makes something that has been part of Select releases for decades, now a difficult task to complete.

So a pretty diverse list all up... I'd be very surprised if the top tier Optimum dual signatures don't sell for similar prices. As a Geelong fan our dual sig is definitely one of the best, with a Norm Smith and a Brownlow winner represented. On paper the Collingwood, Richmond, WCE ones look just as good in terms of genuine club greats and current stars.
