Pies played crap all day except for the 4th quarter, we were very lucky to come away with a win.

I think its fair to say we were gallant in defeat last night. Heath Shaw was our best player by a mile. Rocca finally played a decent game and Big Guy Richards showed promise in the ruck.

Oh well, 1 and 1 is a decent start for the pies this year, especially having played the WC. Didn't see the game, but did catch the miraculous (and ludicrous) comeback last week. If we can string our play together consistently enough then we have a fair crack at a good season.

Still got Didak, Bucks, Lonie, Holland and Rusling to enter our best 22. So maybe finals dont seem to far off our plans

They are no chance at making the finals dude, I have $20 on them to make the 8 at $2.10 and we all know what a Jinx I am (lol)

With Bucks, Didak, Clement, Johnson, Rusling, Lonie and Brodie Holland to still come back we are 2-1 with the Power coming up this week...

Cracking effort, super forward line and around the ground pressure. A few times where they missed some tackles they should have made, and certainly could have done better in front of goal, but to have as much run as they did after they were clearly spent only 4 days ago bodes well for weeks to come. Young new players are exciting prospects, Cox, Dick and Toovey all show some good composure and skills. Exciting times for Pies fans!

Heath shaw must be the best marking player in the AFL for his size, he takes everything and if he's out of the contest he wills his way into the contest..

The way he plays footy is exactly how all young players should endeavour to play

That may be tru but one things for sure mate , we'll be on top of the Roos rofl I think 90% of the kangas have depression...I would to If I lived in North Melb and played for the Kangas

clearly isnt too hard to beat essendon, this years current pretenders.. so i wouldnt go talking either side up for a while..

won some money on the Pies tonight

But more importantly i believe we are in the top 4 as we speak which is awesome. Had to cover Dids tonight and we did it brilliantly. Whilst the umps gave us a good run we were still the better team on the park.

Good players were Fraser, Reece shaw, Bryan, Leon, Swanny (32 touches!!) and i thought Nick Maxwell played really well down back.
