It's definitely been a eventful past couple of months as far as my collecting is concerned. As it has been widely documented, COMC's frequent price hikes and poor quality service left many collectors with a bad taste in their mouths. There was no way I would continue to support a company who treat their customers so poorly.
It was a bad position from a collecting standpoint with the prospect of paying GSP shipping prices or miss out on cards from U.S only sellers. I originally heard about MyMallBox from @nichj99 who had read some positive feedback about the service from Blowout.
Being a package forwarding service and not a specialised card processing service, the fear of the unknown still made me skeptical...especially using the service on such a large scale. Long story short, I'm glad I took the risk!
A 6KG package cost $82 (with free processing, optional photo identification @$1 per package) to ship via DHL Express which arrived in less than 3 days, this would have been a $300 package ($500 including processing) with COMC. I was also able to buy supplies, packs and keep bonus cards added from the sellers. I had around 50 bonus cards which have cost at least $50 had it gone to COMC. Needless to say, I will be using MMB again!
