Ha ha, OMG. I have to say something because this is just becoming farcical.
Full credit to araiee for picking a mostly young team of up and comers. I know he picked guys he liked and wanted.
But HTF does that team get so many votes going up against the Blazers, Bulls and Hornets squads ??? It's hilarious.
(please do not even consider my team, that's not what this is about).
They have little championship pedigree and hardly any accolades. Yes I know it's not all about this.
I feel I need to apologise to drob50 and the other guys in our pool for this abomination.
The members voting have certainly showed their youth mostly. I just feel that some voters can only go back as far as 2009 as far as their knowledge.
Maybe the member vote wasn't the way to go.
Please araiee I hope you don't think this is a shot at you, I can tell you picked guys you liked and went for youth.
I think Shaq and Wilt alone would carry those teams through.

This rant made me go back and see who I voted for in your group - Bulls and Spurs - so all is well
I actually didn't plan to pick "young players" I actually did research older players and had a heap such as Drexler, jerry west, wes unseld, artist Gilmore, alex English, james worthy, kevin McHale, bob cousy...I admire all these older players and have loved watching them in some form through footage via various sources, honestly I had a list of about 35 old school players I wanted to incorporate but it didn't eventuate, I still managed I think to get 5 retired players, and like my team as it has a lot of flexibility and really rounds out defence, scoring and a lot of different line ups that I think would work...just because a team picks primarily retired players does that mean its a better team does it??....I do understand what you say to a degree, but really digging at my team isn't really on, you say it isn't a shot at me, but why single me out???...I wouldn't stoop that far personally but anyway, that's the way it goes, if anyone in anyway finds my team "unfair or unworthy" please let me know and ill happily withdraw to facilitate "worthier" teams...I thought this was a fun exercise, so really feel disappointed here...
I stand by my Philly (araiee) pick, with a mix of scoring defence and depth, in my opinion would easily dismantle all other teams in its division with Chicago being the only team to challenge them. Nice team araiee and good luck with the rest of the draft

It all is just a bit of fun and really just us pretending to be good predictors - we have zero idea of how these teams would mesh in reality, regardless of their career averages and championship pedigree- they're virtually all star teams and we all know how close MOST All star games are every year!
I did my best picking my team and also picked a few favourites that I used to enjoy watching, I could've surely picked players with championships just for the sake of it but I went with a heap who don't! Eg Webber. If people like my players then all good, can't do anything about what era members here were born in or how seriously they take this draft
