popped down to a newsagency near where i worked at years ago and i knew the owner well. asked him if he had any footy cards and he said i will be hard pressed finding any anywhere as if he didnt send them back he wouldnt have got a credit, Traders and Elite. so the remaining ones could be anywhere....

I really think these #001 are under valued to be honest. You get a Jersey (signed) $150+, #001 signature card $300 - $400?, #001 redemption card $$$$?, certificate of authenticity $$$$? ,and everything framed up in a quality frame $350+. Dont get me wrong but $1000 is way to cheap in my eyes as $1500 is more on the money.

Have just been told by a very respected person that all cases are in Australia. None of them are in china and the series is sold out.

I have been in a dozen newsagents last few days. All said they returned their stock.

One news agency near me has three boxes left nd another about 30 min drive has two but they all go back next week they said

There has been some stock returned. As far as I was told all bar the loose packets have sold. Not much left. If you can get hold of boxes and packets buy them know. No cases are left absolutely sold out. I was told the total release was delivered and distributed and every case has been sold

It really comes down to how easy it is to crack open. We all want to hold the card in our hand, right!

Might not be that easy to crack open, I have my 2003 XL Broncos team set professionally framed and it was framed in the wrong aspect. Took it back to be redone. When it was finished for the second time and I got it back I showed it off to redtorana, he noticed the cards had been damaged (creased) when removing them from the previous frame.........so as I said, might not be that easy to crack.
