I'm wondering why the other two ISC sponsored teams - Souths and Newcastle - aren't getting one. Souths, I can kinda understand with the Superman (and being DC).

They do look awesome though. I also like the Penrith jersey they're wearing in honour of Western Rams (Penrith playing in Bathurst this weekend).

ISC emailed me to confirm Souths = Superman and Knights are not participating.

With the red and blue, would have been a perfect fit for Newcastle.

In fact, it's a pity the whole NRL aren't doing it. Earlier in the year, for May the Fourth Be With You, the AFL got in to bed with Star Wars and they produced club t-shirts in all club colours. Same with Superman last year. I just don't know why the NRL doesn't have a uniform uniform policy to stop the chopping and changing, the participation or not, and weekly sox being worn by clubs. Hell, they can't even get Indigenous and Women In League rounds done right.

But for those clubs getting a super hero shirt, you're lucky buggers. They look great IMO.

They are being worn in Round 21.

Captain America is playing against Iron Man. The rest against normal teams.
