I would consider it a success, most cards went for at least double what the others normally sell for online.

But still some very very cheap prices. Ridiculously cheap actually i expected them to go for a lot more.

I'm sure that money will go a long way with grassroots rugby league projects and feeding poor kids nutritious food.

You can't really argue with those results.

Not sure they would have gone for more on the open market. I paid more for the one I won knowing it was going to charity

At the end of the day, if they end up on ebay what can anyone do ? The winners have now purchased the cards and are free to do with them what they see fit. If they want to take the risk that they will take a loss on the card, good luck. I'm sure a lot of buyers got them for the PC.

In good news, check out the pick the total amount thread. Our winner came within $3 of the total amount!

I don't think we had a great idea of what they would go for as it was the first time. A great result, initial estimates are that around $8000 will be going to charity. Can't knock that!
