It's been a while but have finally got around to backscanning some cards that have been lying around for a while - grouped together the non PC patches I had and this is the end result....

Starting out with a couple of Al Thorntons....one of the most talented players not in the NBA, bit of a shame, he could help so many teams! Nice patches nevertheless...early on his career when he had the NBA world at his feet.

Rookie Threads patch auto /25

Sweet Shot rookie patch /10

Saer Sene Ultimate Premium Patch /25 - don;t know what happened to this bloke, he could board and block shots and didn't last too long after being picked 10th overall.... Bit of on ordinary patch but at least it's a jumbo patch. Good to see that iconic green and gold Sonics stuff too....

Bit of an oddball - not sure who thought it was a good idea to load up on college coach letterman autos in SPA but it's SP and an ebay 1/1 too. ...and for all of those Hangman / Wheel of Fortune pundits the letter 'N' is a good one to have....hah hah

The Small Forwards

Dorrell Wright /15 - Looks great in hand, certified blue patch, with the team coloured blue and gold patch and a great action shot showing off the team uniform... Had his best years with the Warriors, good all-round game so a nice card to have.

Chuck 'The Rifleman' Person /25 - great 4 colour T-Wolves patch , just wish it was in the Pacers uni when he was at his best...

Paul 'The Truth' Pierce 49/49 - Think Pierce, think Boston, think Championship nice chunky green and white C's patch...

Grant Hill / 49 - everybody's favourite, classy guy and a nice 3 colour Suns patch. Doesn't look right in that Clips uni though....

The Exquisites

David Noel Rookie patch auto /225 - such lovely looking cards, nice patch, big on card auto and a great design. Another guy who dominated D-League but couldn't take the next step...

Eddy Curry Exquisite Noble Nameplate /25 - got a couple of these Nameplates now and they're the bomb! reminds of back back in the not so recent past when Eddy Curry was one of the best offensive low post players in the league and Upper Deck was churning out product...

The Rockets

Donte Greene / Joey Dorsey dual patch /25 - how cool is the Greene patch? Ironically although traded to the Rockets he never suited up for a single for them....

John Lucas /49 - known as the #1 overall pick in 1976 who battled drug and alcohol problems who now counsels current NBA players about the same.... If he played that well with those problems no telling how good he could have been if he was clean...

Now for a jumbo patch that will really put a rocket in your sockets.....

One of Houston's all time greats.....

Another Ultimate Premium Patch, this one /50

Look at that patch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve 'Novakaine' Novak!

Whoops! Almost forgot about this former Rocket!

T-MAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y'all will know exactly where this patch comes from too! Sen-friggin-sational! Loved that Rockets squads with Yao & T-Mac.

Well that's it for now, still plenty more to scan in so keep an eye out. Everything non PC is up for sale / trade. Thanks for looking (and reading if you did) - comments always appreciated.

Nice AT12's! He was one of my first PC's when I started collecting again.

Hard to beat the Novak & Tmac Ultimate's though

Another great mailday man

T-Mac patch is sexy!
Nice write up too! :)

Thanks Whitey, it is indeed a mighty patch!

I don't think some basketball people even know who Al Thornton is which is a bit sad really, let's hope he makes it back to the big time!

Some really nice patches!

I'm not really a big fan of patches, but that T-Mac spoke to me! Had to have it!

Novakaine????
Nice TMac!

Novakaine - as dubbed by Walt Frazier when he actually got some court time as a Knick, I kid you not! Statistically, one of the worst rebounders (ever) in the league for a guy 6'10...

wow that T-Mac patch speaks for itself!

Sure does, it says 'OC' - heh heh

Awesome T-Mac and stacks of patchy goodness. Always nice to add a few exquisites as well.

The photo from the John Lucas Certified looks like it was taken from a bobblehead?! Dude has a huge head

Oh my Skip always a pleasure to travel with you in the nba story . Thanks for sharing with us, great additions !

You must have managed to snag one of the few Saer Senes that former member buyingstuffformikelee doesn't own.

Like all of the patch cards

Card serves as a good warning to kids, substance abuse will result in bobbleheadedness - campaign for a new generation!

Good to see you back! Will PM you soon!

Sweet Hill patch! Nice write up too!

Not many Hill patches around compared with other players when you think about it, must be all of those injuries!

Like all of the patch cards

Is patch, is good, most are actually game used too (apart form the Dorsey / Greene and the letterman of course). Whatever happened to Mike? He was a good guy!

nice patches, especially the tmac! :D

Second most expensive patch I've ever bought, but well worth it!

Very nice stuff. Everyone knows I am a sucker for Sonics stuff. Love the Sene!

I can honestly say it's the best Saer Sene card I own! ...yes, it's the only one I have. :-P

Patchy at its very best. Love the T-Mac patch but the Lucas and Wright cards are very nicely designed.

Nice design makes all the difference - and a matching patch of course. Pet peeve is a player's former team's patch on a card with the player in another team uniform.....

Awesome additions love the Tmac!

Who doesn't! That card totally rocks! One of my all time favourites!

Love the Chuck Person... He could shoot "Lights out!!!" sweet! and talk trash while doing it! lol  =D>

A poor man's Larry Bird - had a great nickname for a sharpshooter too! Rifleman - classic!
