i have never bought of him, i listed some cards that were similar to his on the same day and blasted me because my price was 90% cheaper than his and accused me of sabotaging his chance of a sale, he also thinks he is the ebay police, apparently we are not allowed to state the offer of Registered post or regular post ???

I spoke to steve last xmas at fairfield markets he was telling me all the other sellers on ebay there prices are all wrong.
He believes his prices are fair and just.

Got a Corey Parker 2009 Select NRL Champions Red Foil Signature card from rarecollectibles last week. Bottom left corner had a slight dog ear. Informed him, and he emailed back within a few hours and said send it back and he'll send another as soon as that one arrives.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see how that works out.

Got a Corey Parker 2009 Select NRL Champions Red Foil Signature card from rarecollectibles last week. Bottom left corner had a slight dog ear. Informed him, and he emailed back within a few hours and said send it back and he'll send another as soon as that one arrives.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see how that works out.

good luck with that one mate, ask him to cover the post and see how he goes

im assuming you were eager to pick up any parker cards for the new pc? big mistake buying BIN items off Rare Collectables. hes pretty much double the price of any other seller

Yeah thats it mate. Just trawling through looking for stuff that I haven't got already and if I haven't seen it going anywhere else its kinda hard to judge whether or not its a good price. Having looked up the rest of the set could only find most others going from $21 for sets of three to $7-$10 for an individual. SO kinda figured it wasn't too bad a price.

Sounds like a top bloke. I suppose that's the benefit of being involved in such a forum. Get to learn from other peoples mistakes and if your unfortunate to be on the receiving end, share your experiences to help others avoid in the future.

Not only are his prices ridiculously overs, but he's an f'n pig. I used to go to Fairfield Markets quite often up until a few years ago. Took the kids when they were younger, they were keen on Pokemon & YuGiOh and I was always after NRL. He had a very good stock of cards so we always picked up a few. But the way he treated people disgusted me. I'm an Aussie bloke with two young kids, 6 foot 2 and I know what I'm looking at. So I get treated like royalty. Mums and grandmothers, Asians or little kids on there own got treated like shit. Abused like I've never seen before for asking simple questions or asking to look at certain cards.
I have only ever purchased one card from him on ebay back in 2005 and swore to never buy again. Tradition SBW Club Heroes, took a month to arrive, was told that it was sent and was accused of trying to rort him. Finally got it when I threatened to open a case, I was a lot more naive and trusting back then.
Avoid like the plague.

Well much to my surprise I got a fresh card returned today with no hassle or abuse. Just a quick email thanking me for letting him know once I'd posted it back to him. Even gave me a piece of paper to scan for free postage for next order.

I wont push my luck so I think I'll just use it for toilet paper instead.

I got away for a break ( which I needed) I bought a few cards off him last week swapped a few of doubled 2013 parallel traders for a set and several cards. The price was ok. But I try not to buy from him much these days.
Are there any other local card traders in Sydney region ? I am slightly over his prices.
