Lets face it, you didn't 'see' it anyway! It is pretty clear that you only ever browse the box scores these days. It is the only explanation as to why you still think Westbrook is a superstar!
If Kobe takes 28 shots a game and is a superstar, then if Westbrook takes 32 a game isnt he by default, a BIGGER superstar??

Agreed! I didn't like it either time, but when Pop did it, it was to prove a point about the lack of care in the scheduling! If they want a 'blockbuster' between the 2 biggest teams, then don't have one on the end of a road trip, playing 5 in 7 nights and the end of a back to back, while the other team has been resting for 3 days!
I was really looking forward to this game. I was on 'media ban' until after lunchtime so I could wait for a mate to come over (Heat fan) and watch it together, only to find they weren't playing?? Just didn't enjoy it!

Funny thing is, my wife said "lucky they weren't playing or it would have been a big loss". But that isn't the case. The whole dynamic changes when the lineup changes. That's why our bench it so close last time!
It just makes me more excited for a Spurs/Heat final series!

Wow, that is a MASSIVE loss for San Antonio today.
I'm a big believer in a game being totally different if say lebron/Wade/Chalmers played, but the Spurs would have wanted this game BADLY.
AND THEY LOST!!!!!
It really needed to be a Spurs win if they want to try face these guys in the Finals (if it falls that way).
Very disappointing for Spurs fans.

all you guys are talking about how it was flat to watch the spurs/heat game without wade and LeBron.......ya'll should try watching a cavs game with a startiong 5 of livingston, ellington, gee, thompson and zeller......love them but tough to watch sometimes, especially with chris quinn and casspi getting minutes :/
