We have had a few players in great form, particularly Merrin.

Merrin is outstanding at the moment. He was easily their best last night and last week v Canberra. He reminds a lot of Gallen, always busts the first tackle and takes multiple defenders to bring him down, great offload before and after the line and in traffic and tackles all day. If he can become an 80 minute player watch out!

Merrin will be the best lock in the NRL if he maintains this form.......................and a State of Origin certainty this year.

Was my Captain this week and smashed it (100+) even though he had a 20 minute rest.........I for one don't know why Price wont try him for 80.

I know C. Smith did better and those few points will probably cost me this weeks SuperCoach so you don't need to mention it Owen.

Sunday mail reporting that Dugan will sign with Brisbane this week and play v Titans on Friday. Apparently he has a meeting with Ian Schubert at RLHQ on Tuesday to discuss the registering of the proposed contract, $2million over 3 years!
