Hi everyone,

Had some new info through regarding NRL Power Play from Terry at ESP.

The new launch date will be Monday 25th March.

The main features of the product are:


- This product is primarily targeted at the 6 to 16 age group but will appeal to the collectors.

- The score on the card relates to that players individual fantasy football score at the end of 2012 season.

- You need a minimum of two packet of cards to play the game.

- There are 240 cards to collect in the set. Plus there are 29 different Power/Buster Cards to collect (Gold/Silver/Bronze and One Community Cards).

- The insert Cards sets included, Glow in the Dark Cards, Mascot Bags Tags and Foiled Super Star Cards.

- Each packet contains 8 cards and there are 24 packets per CDU.

- The RRP is $2.99.

- The Albums includes an Album Card plus two packets of cards RRP 24.95

- No Case card are included in a case.

- No Signature cards in this release.

- The rule of the game are included in all packets, the rules are also featured on the supporting website www.nrlpowerplay.com

- The website will launch the week of the 18th of March.

- All Customer will be encouraged to visit the website and register their details to access the specially designed content including additional games and other activates and information specific to the NRL and the Power Play Game.

- Each Card is uniquely coded, this code can be entered by the customer via the website www.nrlpowerplay.com to release the physical cards digital partner creating a virtual trading card album unique to that customer.

- Network service will offer the products via:

• Coles Express

• Caltex

• News Agents

• BP

• 7/11

• Coles Super markets

• Woolworth Super Markets

• All airport News Agents

- The ratios are:

• Team Logo Glow in the Dark Cards 16 to collect 1 per 12 packets.

• 2013 Super Star Foil Cards 16 to Collect 1 per 6 packets.

• NRL Mascot Bag Tags 16 Cards to collect 1 per 24 packs

• Gold Power Card 10 to Collect 1 per 6 Packets

• Silver Power Cards 1 to Collect 1 per 24 packs

• Bronze Cards 3 Cards to Collect 1 per 12 packets

• One Community Cards 15 Cards to Collect 1 per 6 packs

Nice to see it features a few different players from the Traders team set - for the Knights at least (not sure about the other sides).

Does anyone know if there's going to be Daily Telegraph cards this year? This set seems to take it's place, to me.
 
There are only 8 of the plastic bag tag cards, makes me think more to come in another similar release for the kids later in the year...........?
