ESP NRL Traders 2013 Sneak Peak UPDATED WITH NEW IMAGE

So who's got the balls to buy up all the foil team sets (for $10 each) on the hope they're less common than 1 per pack?

you will be hugely disappointed when you find out who it is.

You talking about the Blake Austin card?
I reckon only better option would have been Mansour. Certainly a vast improvement on last couple year's selections. And I'm stoked ESP is actually picking players with limited first grade experience, rather than "rookie-ing" players 2-3 years after they've hit first grade.

Like the Select Top prospect from last year McKendry? Had played for his country and Panthers for a few years.

if i had a choice of mckendry or austin i know which one i would want.

selects last two picks were wade graham, gordon, sandor earl and mckendry.. not bad if you ask mee. this is austins 3rd season and hes played 13 games, definitely wouldve preferred the mansour. even matt robinson would be a good selection he will be the one for next year though now probably

Not so much dissing McKendry's ability/potential - just the chances he'll be the third TP in as many years to not be at the Panthers long-term. Cant' really blame Select for that though. I'd say at least Austin has a long term contract, but that doesn't seem to count for much these days.

I think the young guns/top prospect style sets will always be a bit 'after the fact' unless a card company decides to do a series later in the year or decides/gets permission to do Toyota Cup inserts.

Found A Pic Of the display Box...... Like their choice of the premiership Card and young gun for the box.
wished that 12 cards per pack logo was not there.

Getting myself back on topic - is there any consensus or confirmation that the cards on the display box with colour bands top and bottom [Benji on the flap, Roosters player on the side of box] is the common card?? At first I thought they were the league leader cards but the different colour bands would suggest they're probably not part of an insert set.

I prefer the use of action shots with original backgrounds, but if these are the commons I'm pretty content. They look solid - remind me a little of Select's 09 Classic design (arguably their best), but without the retro feel.

Now, if I've got it all wrong, and that Ben Barba card with the dull blue background is the common ... . I'm really hoping that's an example of the parallel set - a foil coat is the only way I see that card looking halfway interesting.

I thought the Ben Barba was the common. Hard to tell thought.

Did anyone go to the parramatta fair yesterday. There was supposed to be new info released.

good point. although yeah definitely not selects fault. there is 11 players off contract this season and only one is going to be resigned. and austin wont get another contract beyond 2015 i dont think. i know cleary thinks hes a cat.

went through the whole team. and the only ones i like are mansour, tighe, segeyaro, grant and robinson.

were struggling

Blake Austin is a good prospect from what i have seen he is a big boy can bust tackles and ball play had a few injures last year that's just bad luck
