Hi guys, in the past few days i discovered what could be a new hobby?

Background story:
I was watching my girlfriend paint some uni homework 4 nights ago and i was REALLY bored. so for a laugh i asked if i could paint with her. She agreed and handed me over a canvas.
She then asked me what i wanted to paint.
I thought hard and long! finally decided to paint one of my favourite BBallers at this present stage ( Kyrie Irving).
5 hours later i finally finished! haha, and probably discovered i may have an eye to this thing artists call "painting" :P, I thought it was a fluke! i could not back myself up again thinking if i attempted another painting, ide only look like a fool.
the following day i went for a drive to a art shop and bought another canvas,
got back to the misses house and again tryed to pant but this time Derrick Rose. i think the pictures will justify why this may be a new hpbby? or a phase? either way i enjoy it and everyone that as seen the pictures in person dont even believe it was me!

So ive created this thread and will keep uploading more and more paintings as i go along. Dont be shy to pm me or send reply of a picture i could maybe attempt? i will leave my sundays free to keep painting.

Also if you are an artist or anything like that, Join in the thread and upload some pics!

how can i name a price? lol every painting i will paint from now until i get bored, will be 1/1 lol not 2 paintings will be the same, even if i tryed to make them identical, they never will be, the slightest different wave of a brush gives a different effect. not only that, it takes alot of time to paint these :p right now its not for the money at all, im enjoying a new hobby and still dont know how far i can take this. If someone is die hard for one of them they can shoot me a offer but right now im so attached to them coz its new lol

Every single painting is on the same size Canvas (14" x 11"). if i painted enough of my favourite sporting superstars they could all jigsaw together and complete a full size room wall and gee that would look amazing lol

I have a few sportsman coming up in the next few weeks which ill paint, MJ, Tiger, afl legends, nba legends (magic , bird, reggie, barkley) just need to find the time, work holidays finishes tomorrow, only reason why i had time to paint was coz work holidays :P as i said sundays ill try.

Hey mate... as per the other threads, they are awesome!! Kyrie one is probably still my fav, dunno why, it just looks the best haha...... also like the addition of his name on the left.... oh and make sure to always sign & date your pieces haha

I used to do a little drawing when I was younger, but they aren't as good as this - think I posted them on a thread somewhere.

As for Blake, needs a little work I think - just be careful not to rush; I know the feeling, wanna finish this one so you can get onto the next one haha.... just treat everyone as a masterpiece & take your time. :)

haha thanks brett!, yea i do sign and date all the pieces once they are finished. the girffin is far from finished, needs abit of work down to the head lol also the ali still needs another coat of the shadow on the face but still a little wet, which is why i started the griffin. thanks for the support. send me the link to ur drawings dude!

I found the thread but all the pics are broken.... will have to fix them up first haha
