1925 Cains Sweets

Hi. Have recently come into possession of some 1925 Cains Sweets including Ces Blinkhorn, Harold Horder and others. Never seen them before - Anyone have any idea what they're worth ? Tks...

These are from series 1, which was a set of 36, not sure if series 2 was different sports but i only know of 3 Rugby League players in series 2... how many cards did you get?

Hi. Thanks. Did a quick search on ebay and am surprised that these old cards trade so low yet a modern card (not a limited edition) that is not even 6 months old sells in the double figures. Crazy crazy stuff - just doesnt make sense.

I think it is a case that not many collectors would know the players. The players from that era are rarely mentioned if at all, whereas players from the 40 or 50's on are.
